    If you haven't already, delete all the files in the steam directory then reinstall. If that doesn't work then something has found it's way into your files, such as a tweak you made or a virus.

    The Radeon HD series is known to handle DayZ pretty well. GeForce GTX also handles it well, so it's your preference.

    Bump. This is becoming a festering issue, sporadic as well. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't, but for the most part, it doesn't.
