To the OP If you are joining private shard servers you will get that in every one you join, because they don't share loot.. Plus I made a post about how to fix this if it happens to you I'm not going to look it up for you because you need to learn to search not just have everything handed to you.

If you are in a server and it restarts WAIT till the server time is updated don't just jump back in. The server hasn't had time to sync with the central hive(ever shut down Dayz and seen the sync message in steam?) it will reset you almost every time if you jump back in before it has time to sync. The servers that have SSD drives are good about not resetting your character. Heres how you get your character back. 1) If you get Testing 1 2 3, log out the instant you see that . 2) shut down the game and go in to steam and verify your game cache 3) When that is finished restart steam and 95% of the time you will get you character back. *** If you interact with the environment like get hit by a Zed or open a door and so on you will not get you character back *** 2nd If you are joining a private shard server you will get that message every time, if its one that you have been on before you will still get that message because you are not logging in the the central hive. Join and see if you really did get reset or this the central hive message then report back.....

One of the best things about Dayz is the looting up, and going places on the map you have never been before. Just run around and explore the map there is a lot of new things that you don't see just running around electro..

Restarts are done for server performance and to respawn some loot, as it stands right now there is no way to have a full 24hr server and be able to survive ie the lag or lack of loot. But I see this to become a real thing down the road and to have servers running a accelerated 24hr cycle(already tester back around .45) so it can be done but they are unable to do it right now.

I talk in game to invoke interactions, teamspeak it great but you tend to encounter more people if you throw yourself out there..

I played for 17 in game hrs without running in to another human, matches, ax and knife are the big thing to have multiple of.

This patch is the most stable so far. you haven't played the game since the beginning i'm guessing.. FPS increase is the biggest plus.

The loot spawn has been moved, we found 2 tents today in the new loot spawn. Start searching..

Hicks said in his stream that the loot spawn for the tents has moved(not in the hut anymore)

***UPDATE*** Hicks confirmed on his stream that the loot spawn for the tents has been moved but he didn't say in what loot location they are in now so if someone knows please update us.

LOL I have found 7 of them and given them to my clan mates, no matter there will be a wipe soon so no need to worry about one now. 3 at one time.

So tonight we were having a few good gun fights in Novo and the outer edges and I think we killed a hacker or whatever you want to call him or her, when all of a sudden my server went ape shit. I now know this has happened to others but not until I saw it with my own eyes. Every player on the server was reset and teleported to Vibor (200+ toons) I will let the picture tell the story........(sorry for the language a few of the players typed)

You get kicked for using chat in the EXP servers, they need to do away with it all together. If you don't have a mic you should be shot on sight.

As it stands right now they have to be restarted to generate loot, you have all been to the server that had no gear on it you did say there long? If this were true of the experimental servers that are not spawning loot would still be populated, people will not come to the servers that spawn no loot, once it's fixed I'm sure that this will be taken care of and people over let their servers run a longer cycle I know that our server will run 24/7 if it doesn't need to be restarted.

There is a bug (already reported) that when you saw it off you only get one pellet from the buck shot not 10-12 of them. Its a bug not nerfed.
