This game is so much fun to play and we don't thank you guys enough for it. Steam says I logged 102 hours this past weekend, I was rounding up bambi's and showing them the ropes which is what I usually do when there are new players. I've seen random strangers commit to a suicide pact together just now, I've been saved in the nick of time from a bleed out death from a zombie, we have rescued downed players under attack by other players. This game is so unique in every play through. I even starved to death on one life a few years ago where I had full military gear, canned food in my backpack and nothing to open it with. This game is brutal, unrelenting, heart wrenching, anger inducing, frightening, creepy and down right mentally disturbing. Here is a whole hearted thank you for all the fun and for all the fun times to be had.

You caught something I don't think many people including myself did. What does "..//.. I hope message is received." mean to you?

I have found that you can one shot zombies with the .22 sporter, haven't tried it with the amphibia yet though but I will soon. I like how quiet they both are though that's a huge bonus when zombies spawn near sound

Its pretty unfair to say that because I play d&d that I have no interest in women. I've slept with well over 40 of them and I've been playing role playing games since I was 13. So say what you want. Playing girls is easy and takes no skill. Taking on an entire thieves guild when your only lvl 2 and killing 40 of them takes skill, cunning, and solid tactics. Plus games don't bitch and whine when you leave the toilet seat up. Sadly I still have yet to meet a girl who is smart enough to figure out that she can actually lower the seat herself. They never raise it for me so why should I lower it for them?

I get the feeling you haven't played any actual role playing games before :p There is no aspect of role playing in this game so far because people don't stay in character or even have a sense of their character. I grew up playing role playing games, ya know the ones with dice & character sheets. So I like the real aspect of role playing and its only better when everyone else is in character too.

Has anyone found any role playing servers? I am really looking at getting involved in a "hardcore" role playing server where everyone keeps pretty true to their character. I think that would be a great time, especially since if everyone is in character they will be far more likely to try keep their character alive. I've already got my character idea, and goals in mind :)

I had the funny experience of trying to run away and ditch a zombie in Svetlojarsk, this soon ended up in me with a garden hoe running away trying to bandage while 15 zombies were chasing me through town. Thankfully I got to a safe spot up in some scaffolding and bandaged, then found a 1911 and some 45 rounds so I could chamber one round and kill one at a time with a perfect headshot (I did not have a lot of ammo) A better strategy I have found is to seriously think like your a commando sniper in hostile territory, if you are in a building and the zombies are looking your direction, crawl. Also crawl slowly so that you are quieter. Avoid crawling into bushes because they rustle. Stealth is not broken, because I've avoided zombies with stealth where I otherwise would have gotten zombie aggro if I was sprinting by them. The zombies respond to sight and sound so stay behind them if you can, or if you can't stay low and move slow. I ended up logging into a new server because someone was in Svetlojarsk with me and he was armed and I really wasn't so I just pussed up and logged, searched around the town all ninja like and got a fireaxe now I have no problems. Stealth is really the best way to avoid everything nasty in this game, if you can't be seen you can't be killed.

If you want to see hacking try playing any of the call of duty games... Especially the older ones, they aren't even playable any more.

Chernogorsk is really quiet from my experience. I went to it for the first time today, everyone said its a killing field so I've always avoided it. Me and 2 friends were doing some bandit hunting and we server hopped a few populated servers and all of them we were the only people in Cherno. So we went hunting in Electro. It might be worth it to check it out. Still its a dangerous place. My first time trying to get there I got sniped out by a very good sniper.

Lots of hero type players wear stuff that blends them in with their surroundings and protects them from being killed... aka ballistic helmet, gas masks prevent sickness and realistically if I was involved in a zombie apocalypse I'd wear a gas mask all the time to protect myself from airborne infection. I'm really looking forward to some role playing servers. The rule of thumb, if they shoot at you kill them, they are obviously bad. If they are trying to knock you out and take your shit, kill them. KOS is for people that just want to be dicks. The game is built in such a way that no one really wants to die, so if you get the drop on someone you can really have a great advantage on them. Yesterday I held up two people, my buddy tried to be a dick but I was the only one with ammo and I helped the two out, gave them ammo helped them get geared out and get food. We all played together for 8 hours and me and one of the players I held up yesterday were killing kos bandits in electro just now. Smartest thing to do if your a noobie is to run inland in search of food (especially if on a populated server) Now with there being weapons in police stations pretty much every town can get you geared out. Piano houses are good places too. If you have a gun and ammo for it, always keep it in your hands if there is someone else armed around you. Be wary of everyone, even if they say they are friendly because they could just be lying to get your guard down. Remember, if you see one person they ALWAYS have a buddy. Even if they don't expect it. Its common to see people travelling in groups up to 5 players. All in all its a straight forward game, get loot & survive. PVP is the hardest part about this game because every situation is so intense. It took ten minutes for the adrenalin to wear off from holding up my two new friends yesterday. Thankfully they were not armed with anything other then a pipe wrench and a crowbar.

Rain could possibly effect clothing, I was soaked a lot today and my clothes seemed to need to be repaired a bit. Either that or I didn't really notice damage done to my clothes when thumped by zombies. That certainly can damage things.
