while i generally agree, some of these already have the meat coming off the bones...the vaseline is for dipping...mmm :thumbsup: and..... i ebay alot, came by a case of coyote urine for like dirt cheap that i'm tryin to dump too....turns out its completely useless as aftershave, although its great if you'd like a yard full of coyotes...cant figure out what to do with them either now that the petting zoo didnt work out. wont give pony rides and i mean who knew they would bite? i guess technically, like several of my guests have pointed out, alot of one animal does not a zoo make. fuckers will not let you dress them up either...wasted money on several Big Bird costumes, thought i'd try to go with an avian theme.... i seem to be compounding my problems... so thats 6 dead mostly tender cats, 3lbs of vaseline(once you try the dip you'll be happy its 3lbs), 95% of a case of coyote piss, and about 48 coyotes, four of which are in Big Bird costumes in various states of dress...all i need is that address holmes, my donations are ready :D

private hives....please soon...so i pretty much agree i'm sure i will occasionally jump on a public hive server just for S&G's, but 99%of my play time will be on my own server/hive. i wonder how the loot distribution thing will be with a private hive? i guess really it wont matter, as Mod's will allow for tweaking of loot dynamics sometime down the road.

sounds great...maybe the game could make us go to church and confess our virtual sins as well...please no "mental health" system as i'm sure it would only serve to remove the player from the experience further, unless we are after something of a morality simulator. not a cannibal (quite the discussion), and still don't care if child zombies are implemented....

i fail to see why moral lines should be drawn in a video game to any degree other than intended by the developer. if you don't like it, don't play it. it is as plausible for children to be present in the DayZ universe as it is for them to be absent. i think it would make it seem more authentic, and present some challenges to player decision making, but would it really add that much to game play? pretty much indifferent on whether they implement them or not... keep in mind, for those high moral ground folks, that there have been very few games with kill-able children, but we still have the school killings, thousands upon thousands of children missing each year, etc. those amoral people are going to do those things regardless.... to speculate 10-20 years into the future is really pretty silly, kind of like calling the film industry mature...they film what sells, and believe me if they thought there would be money in it, there would be kids getting hacked up in every film. anyway...nice zombie model, cant wait to see all the variations possible with the "paper doll" thing worked out...dev on :thumbsup:

hmmm...well there is no town 627m in any direction from the castle Zub, so you must be aiming at a different castle. ROG also has no towns that close. you are at about the same elevation tho, so....the deer stand on top of PopIvan? :P

vyshonye is the closest town by measuring, i had heard of another .50 cal, but have spent almost all of my time in vanilla, with a small stint in breaking point and epidemic. edit: M107-aiming at Zub from Vyshonye... prolly not :rolleyes:

it does kind of read that way, and that would be cool. it would be nice if...say... a person with a dedi-box in a small data center (i work for an ISP) could host a private shard too, as opposed to renting one from a "provider". the box is overkill from a spec's standpoint, and bandwidth isn't an issue, but unfortunately i don't see that happening--at least not right off..... so i guess i will have to wait for them to allow private hives to get host an SA server. ____ love the weekly reports--truly awesome to be informed and the "up and comings" sound sweet--keep it up :beans:

any ideas as to why i am able to log on to my server (dedi box) and spawn on the beach, but after about 10 seconds (a few steps...lol) i get "authentication timeout"? server and client are running the same version, 1.63/112555. it does the same thing whether Battleye is enabled or not. server is running pwnzors latest server pack. getting ready to post on opendayz too, but thought i'd ask here as well. any help would be awesome :beans:

as per the changelog thread, 1.8.2 was sent to BI 6/22 for confirmation before public release. could be anytime really.....

ya, i saw that in the change log thread...my reply sounds a bit more "smartassish" than intended....its all good, i'm more patient than my comments might indicate :)

none---i was told to wait for 1.8.2, which should be dropping "soon"....lol
