For me, regular is just for testing purpose. When I really want to play I choose hardcore. -

I let the FOV setting default and I never have problems. On 16:9 aspect ratio, the horizontal field of view is 76 degrees and I think it's enough. It creates a natural perspective. Anyway I prefer hardcore and I usually see other players first in the wildness. -

Playing on both and I can play for hours, no lag or rubberbanding, but sometimes, very rare, it happens to be teleported short distances. Usually near some zombies and players in cities. -

Yeap, indeed. This tactic is good outdoor. It is good to change weapon while moving even if you are sure that there is no zombie near you. :) This is for build 0.43 :) Zombies are coming from nowhere with no sound, at high speed. -

I am not a native english speaker. I was just describing how to prevent your character stopping to change weapon. I want to change weapons while moving. And I was saying about an workaround, when 1-9 keys are not working. -

As far as I played 0.43 until now I found that best practice in cities with zombies is to always change weapons while moving. However, you have to keep your current weapon lowered, press W then press 1-9 key to select weapon while you keep W pressed. The animation is played while you still move avoiding zombies. I know that sometimes 1-9 key it doesn't work (bug), but then you have to release the W key for a second and press it again, then try again with 1-9 key. -

I thought that when you say update you are referring to 0.42 update on march 19. This was unplayable. But Saturday march 22, the 0.43 was pushed and it is really working with minor problems (very rare teleportation and minor desync from time to time, but no session lost). It would have been funny if you would have stopped playing just Staturday during the second update to 0.43. :) -

I think that fresh re-spawned zombies can see through some buildings even if they were silently killed withe fire-axe. Can anyone else confirm this? -

I see here a lot of skilled arrogant players, they blame the others for whine. I am sure that many of us can beat 4-5 zombies with the fists and use at most one bandage. I think we are missing the point. It's not about the skill. Right now the zombies CAN be handled, but many here are saying about the experience you have. Zombies coming from walls, appearing next to you. Add as many zombies as you want, make them very aggresive. But recent changes make the game look more bugy. Anyway, we are free to state our opinion. Bohemia makes decisions. -

My post have meaning in the context I was refering to: having fun with guns vs zombies in the middle of a city (hardcore). When you hunt player, you would use your fireaxe to silently kill a zombies. Anyway I start to wonder if I am the only one who ever use guns against zombies. -

Ok, let's say that this type of fun is excluded. I am ready to accept this. Would you use guns just to hunt animals? No. Ofcourse we will hunt players too. So not being able to get your satisfaction from killing zombies with a gun, everybody will start killing people only. Anyway, I know this is temporary. Everything will be much better when zombies will not spawn next to you and no wall clipping. -

I partially agree what you are saying. I like challenge too. Perhaps I am so annoyed about this because multiple problems are accumulating. In the middle of Zelenogorsk I want to fire a gun just for fun. I shoot the first zomebie, then more are coming. I shot another and so on until they are spawning around me, they are clipping from houses, I start to run, but I cannot chamber another bullet in my pistol because I have to sprint without gun. Also pistol magazine very hard to find. I just wanted to have som fun and didn't care about possible players. Just spend my amunition on zombies. Although I have survived I did not get my satisfaction: In the end using my SKS as a "meele" wapon shooting from 1 m away. -

Devs already told us that currnet zombie respawn mechanic is temporary, anyway I don't understand why did they hurry with this temporary feature that only makes the game look more bugy. And you cannot run from a zombie with a gun in your hand, this is not challenging nor realistic. What should I supposed to do? Just run? -

I agree, we just want a good game and user experience. Try using a gun in the midle of a city, running and relaoding a gun while a zombie is running next to you. My point is that you have no statisfaction using a gun against zombies. Of course you could use fireaxe, but I was just saying about guns.
