I just thought of something and really can't be bothered going through 82 pages to see if someone else has mentioned it, but the zombies going to your last seen/sight location won't be exploitable by just laying down and having zero visability will it? Otherwise if you get seen you could just lay down, crawl a bit then continue on your merry way.

I have moved away from the city just because of them and live a country life and just happen to keep in contact with them as I have no other friends IRL to play games with due to the fact I live on a god damn farm. Unless sheep can play games, if I want to play something coop I have to contact them. You're right though I am a coward and can certainly see why you'd say that.
