    No it doesnt mess up your game No you dont lose your chenarus character, but he doesnt transfer. Its a private hive so you have a seperate character there.

    I am starting to think most server admins arent updating their servers properly. I can log into some servers and have zero glitching at all. But there are quite a few where i get it so bad it is unplayable. The only reason i can see this happening is servers not using all the correct files.

    I logged in at Berizino with Mod 1.7.2.5, beta patch 95883, and ran to mil tents. No glitching. Ran to NE Airfield, no glitching. Then I ran back to Berizino tents to see if time in game would make it come back. No glitches.. Ran from there to Stary, again no glitches. Screw it im almost there, NE airfield. No glitches. My comp is older, E8400, with a 4870 512mb video card. Using driver version 12.3. AA is off, Vsync off. Memory default.

    Exactly. The common thread as to whether it works or not so far seems to be beta patch. Edit: or not, lol

    People need to post their beta patch as well, not just that they have artifacts. Doesn't do anyone any good if you don't.

    I always play solo, and haven't been script killed in a long long time. ( probably just jinxed myself). Anyway, that sounds like the difference to me. I play solo, avoid players mostly unless I have no choice and generally play survivalist. Where as it sounds like you and your group are actively looking for other players to fight with, therefore your chances of finding a scripter and pissing them off are way higher than mine. My last guy was alive 25 days, which I played roughly 2 - 3 hours a day. So it sounds that play style has something to do with it.

    Not all of us care or cry about dying. It is part of the game, and makes it fun.

    Scheduled restarts offer the same advantage. You know for sure when there will be a respawn. Besides can't an admin restart the server whenever he wants? So in theory there can be scheduled restarts and a manual restart when the admin comes back on if they want.

    My next charactet will be the one i attempt to survive without guns. Gonna play scavenger. Hide from players. Run from zombies. Just get tools and a hatchet. See how long i can survive.
