  1. so...what, wait 3 minutes for new respawn or run for 40 minutes to the place you wanted to spawn.

I don't see much of a problem with choosing here, even if it means 10 minutes of waiting.

I want to play with my friend now, not 40 minutes later, when I will be going to work in next 20 minutes.

  2. People with AKMs are easier to be tracked.

AKM is less accurate than enfield, also it's a bit less powerful, thus sometimes you won't kill in 1-2 hits with enfield (95% of the times I hit someone witn enfield, it's 1 hit kill).

These cons of AKM will force you to shot multiple times which will give away your position to other players.

After first shot in wilderness I usually try to locate it asap, so after 2nd AKM shot I can locate the player almost instantly.

  3. Its much better than that crap you start with. Youll get spotted a mile away with that on.

    I agree.

If I have a civil suit' date=' I keep reloggin till I get black skinned one ... as White+blue is like a big sign saying "Kill me, I'm here!"

Even if you relog until you find a civilian skill you like that doesn't mean other people see you in that skin. I've tested this with my friends.

    Really ?!

    DAMN!

I thought I was almost invisible with that "hard worked" black suit when lying at the treeline trying to find the source of these gunshots.. oh well.

  4. The thing about DayZ is, that it plays like a sandbox. It's open ended game, there is no real goal, also some of these classes are superior to others.

I do not see ANY point on spawning as someone else than Soldier or Hunter (the classes you put). As long as soldier's "Gun" is something more than "Makarov".

Spawning with almost no gear is the way to go in my humble opinion.

It gives more to the immersion and makes the gameplay more challenging and fun.

  5. So your suggestion is put more zombies in cities when you spawn with no weapons so that you have zero chance of getting anything out of the city?...uhhh no...the game has to be balanced around not only the zombies but also the players. If your on a care bear server where everyone loves you great. I am not if I enter a city I will bePK'ed even though I just spawned and have nothing

That's the point... a city should be a place to be feared but right now even without a weapon you can run in ' date=' take 15 minutes to get evertyhing and leave without killing a zombie.

A city should be a no go for somebody who has just spawned.

Actually, I find to use cities as great resupply for my encampment.

I wait till a loot will leave the city by itself, then I ask it to stop and let me take it by pull a trigger on my gun while aiming at it moving towards the borders of the treeline near the city.

After it politely stops and waits for me to take it, I then take all high end stuff that is needed to survive for long weeks.

Who needs superior sniper rifles and amazing M16 with Acog, if you can do just fine with AK74/AKM or CZ550 and TONS of supplies.

  6. Check your GPU control panel if you have some AA forced on.

Also, be sure that post processing is set to off. (ingame option).

    Oh and yea,

Set interface equal to the 3d renderer, as the guy above said... forgot about that, I thought it was obvious ;) .

  7. A very simple idea,

Add a sound when a player enters the game.

It could be yawning or something like that, not very noisy but still audible at close ranges.

It could warn you against server hoppers or people who like to switch to the different server just to log in back behind and take you down.

I've seen couple of scenarios, where people spawned with me inside a building on a higher floor, where you can't access without going through lower interiors.

  8. A simple suggestion I would like to put here.

Being able to claim a tent of an owner that has been killed somewhere.

Right now, if I'm not wrong, tent disappears after 2 days of owner's death.

Don't get me wrong, it's good in someway, but could be totally improved.

After someone, who put down the tent, dies... that tent becomes just a useless container that MAY contain something till it disappears into oblivion.

Why not let us claim it after someone died and be able to for an example pack that tent and move it somewhere else, so we could reuse it.

But, if none would find it in the first 24 hours after the death of it's owner, tent would disappear, thus cleaning up a server just a bit.

Claimed tents would change the owner to the guy who just captured it.

It wouldn't despawn until 24h of his new owner's death.

Add your own suggestion on how You would like to see it improved.

I find it flawed a bit right now.
