Very cool! Hopefully it is more effective than the old crossbow from the mod. There were times I'd shoot a zed in the head and have to pull the bolt out whilst it swung at me just so I could shoot it again.

Found a .22 banana mag in some barracks a couple days ago.

A bandana for the face. With that bandana pattern. I'd also like to see more clothes that are torn and messy...You know, the zombie movie standard of having really grungy, torn up, bloody looking clothes that still look bad ass. As far as weapons go...I'd like to see some more revolvers. Some old beat up Russian type revolvers.

I meant to post this pic awhile ago. It's from experimental a couple weeks ago. I thought the clouds looked great.

About a month ago on experimental I ...made a mistake. I had just spawned and was running north when I came across the two story green house...near the factory...you know the one. Anyway, I walked in and found a defib unit on the floor. I was just about to get ready for work so I just wanted to dick around a bit before I left. So I picked it up, put my 9v into it and flipped it on. I scrolled the mouse wheel and it gave me the option to apply the paddles to myself. I thought "hm...I wonder..." so naturally I pressed it against my chest and jolted myself. Instantly unconscious. A few moments later "You are dead". I laughed...respawned withing a kilometer of my corpse...went back to the house and did it again. I was surprised I could take myself out with the defib unit...now if only there were an option to put a bullet in my skull I'd be able to run up and down the coast forcing fresh spawns to witness my multiple suicides. Dark humor man...too dark.

Day Z requires a different set of social skills. Some people can be trusted, others can't. It takes time to build up trust. You're first mistake was offering someone you didn't know ammo for a gun he was carrying. Even though it was a .22...that's putting a lot of trust into someone you had just met. I offer food and water to people I just meet that seem friendly, but never anything that can be used to put me in danger. Then there is a feeling out process. It takes time. Treat others like a loaded gun. Keep a bit of distance, and always be cautious and on guard until you feel they can be trusted. If you run into someone and immediately trust them because they didn't outright try to hurt you then maybe you should reconsider your idea of trust. Cheers and stay safe!

As a "hero" type player myself, I always treat fresh spawns as if they know what they're doing and have played for awhile. Unless they start asking about the game mechanics...and even then, I keep my distance. You never know if it's someone just trying to get close enough to take you out.

Agreed as well. Actually the first thing I did when I found an acog was hit the num pad /. I was sadly disappointed. It was functional in A2 as well. I'm sure it'll be added in the future though. I assume.

Well...to take it waay back. The original OFP eventually got ported over to the original xbox. I never played the port, but the videos I've seen actually look fairly decent considering the hardware of the time.
