Where in my post did I mention Mugabe? I am the first person to tell you that many of the Dictators in Africa were placed and backed up by the colonial powers and are just as bad as the governors before them. Just look at Mali or CAR, the people live in poverty yet single families control every aspect of government and are backed up by france while living in luxury in France and simply flee there with Billions of Dollars while French jets bomb the "rebels". What I was responding to without calling anyone "little Bru" is the idea of people who romanticize the colonial times as though it were good for all the people. Only a minority benefited and the majority suffered, period...that's why i mentioned India and Rwanda. And if that makes me a guy in a "high horse" then so be it. OP, you used TWD as an example but they don't carry score cards around in the show. What i mean is they could just lie when Rick asks them if they killed people before. Good effort but i don't think it would work because if some guy ambushes a group of bandits who are holding up a friend and kills 4 for example, then his/her score card would show them as a bandit? I would like to see things that would indicate a recent activity; a bloody vest when someone kills another with melee or a steaming rifle if they were in a heavy firefight in the last 15mins. Of course they could have been defending themselves? but it would add another layer as you assess if they are trustworthy. -my 2 cents

A little off topic guys? Sorry to bust your bubble but the "good 'ol days" of looting the world like a global dayz with no care and KOSing any local native or tribal group that stands in the way is over... That state is called Zimbabwe now (named after the ancient kingdom) and it is not coming back as your colony..and neither will Rwanda or India for that matter.. Don't get me wrong, you had a good 300 year run but its all over now and the sooner you accept that the better.

With all the violence, drugs/alcohol talk, sexual and racist crap that happens in an online game, kids under 17 should not be playing..period. When i determine a survivor is a kid, I tell them that i'm from the UN and shoot them down. Nothing personal, it's the law and is for their own good.

What are you folks worried about? just because it's the apocalypse doesn't mean we forget all about good hygiene.

Yes it's a known bug, sometimes you will even see your stuff floating :P . It resets after you get out of the water. Gave me a WTF?! moment too when it happened to me.

You are wrong. example #1--Many people survived the Rwandan genocide by smearing themselves with blood and lying down among the groups of dead people. example #2--(True story)--My grandmother survived a raid by a rival clans' militia in horseback in her village by laying down beside her shot aunt and neighbors for six hours until security forces came to their aid. example #3-- Some survived the recent Nairobi mall attack by pretending to be dead. It is true that in many cases it just makes no sense play dead but did you notice a similar theme in my examples? When hostiles are in a rush or traveling from point A to B (car,horse etc.) while trying to kill as many people they can, they are not going to stop to check the pulse of everyone they shot at. I don't know if people will use this trick in the game but it happens in real life all the time. Have a good day and i expect some beans. (knowledge is not free ;))

I understand your frustration, many people played in Dayzmod and know the map like the back of their hands. When i started I was not familiar with DayzMod but this is what we did. 1 Find a low pop server to familiarize with game controls and mechanics and eat/drink 2 When comfortable, tell your friends to join said low pop server 3 each of you then proceed to the coast 4 keep the ocean to your right and run up the coast until one of you reaches the north east cities 5 when one of your reaches Berezeno for example then stop and tell your friends 6 wait for them as they run up the coast (keeping the ocean to the right) 7 you will all meet up in about an hour if not less Ps there are no FRIENDLY server since every one including Kos'ers can hop on any. --What you waiting for?? Go try it! Edit: Lead your group away from that area as soon as possible if you don't want pvp specially before going into a high pop server.

Butter fingers: Get shot while repeatedly failing to pull out your weapon. Bar Fly: Get killed 3 times in the same city within an hour. Epic Boozer: Fall off a roof..and survive High as a kite: Get killed while alt/tab'd Telepathic: use third-party voip.
