You don lose you char if you change servers, you only get a new one on the hardcore servers. 1 char in regular and one char in hardcore. Sometimes due to missed comunication with hives your char is reset......sucks i know ;) But hey, its an alpha :D Hope this replied to your question ;)

You can keep them for the space, but i believe their "protection" is gone. As for other items ruined like cans, weapons and the rest you can leave them cos they are garbage.

He cant hit the door of a barn...........And the towers and high ground are the first places a good sniper looks.........from the woods. Noob pos + noob shooting + braging= MORON in my math book.

I´ve only seen exploiters, hackers never and I hope this game stays like this, a hacker free enviroment :)

The only problem I see on going on low pop servers and loot the hot zones is that when you get all geard up, prestine stuff and all pretty (looolz), you got no combat experience and you´ll be not accustomed to beeing in danger except for the zeds, that in this stage are almost harmless. This will make you travel on roads, run without a weapon all the time and belive me, make you careless. This will be your doom and the black screen of death will appear really fast. If you dont try to go around what this game is all about, surviving, you´ll get the skill set really fast. Its my two cents, I hope it helps ;) P.s. I dont condemn you if you do, its your choise B)

Im alive for almost a month and a half. I bought the game almost two months ago, and at first, a died five or six times. I´ve been engaged a lot of times, fled a few times when out numbered, killed at least eight to ten players that engaged me. By default im a friendly guy and I try to help, I guess i´ve been very lucky, and fortunatly met some nice folks along the way. Hope I keep my heart beating virtually for some more time, we´ll see.... :)

But to get to the NWAF without any good loot (weapon, ammo, food and water) is suicide by KoS....Word of the wise B) For me Balota and Cherno are radioactive zones.... :murder: :murder: :murder:

I´m anxious for hunting and cooking stuff, cars and bikes....not so much B) If we get planes or boats, I quit playing DayZ looooolz
