What part of the 'life cycle' do you enjoy most?

And then me and my squad show up, uncuff you, fix your wounds, and then get you re-geared. :D -

DayZ Hitman. He works for beans. -
I would also LOVE to see UN uniforms.
-
I'd like to see some remnants of the war that took place in ArmAII, and some more zombie evidence. :D

I like to be geared up and help out newspawns... But my favorite part is that intermediate gearing, where all you have is an axe and a taloon backpack... Good times. :'D -
Elektro, man... They're in the trees, man... Don't salute me, there's snipers...
-
Y'know how you survive snipers in Elektro? Don't go to Elektro.

Personally, I believe it's due to the fact that zombies in hardcore are harder. It gives players a reason to PvE.
-
I personally enjoy hardcore servers for their first-person firefights. This isn't to say I am not shot at. In my experience, I have come under much more fire while playing hardcore. It's just simple; on a populated server, you will come under fire. It doesn't matter if it's hardcore or normal.
-
People are generally shot at less on hardcore due to smaller populations. Smaller populations not only mean people will shoot less, but they are not as protective and paranoid about their gear. Not to mention that maybe they don't see you in first person or want to engage in first person fire fights.

Sorry, a humanity system would ruin the game and destroy the interior tension of human interaction.

Ever consider that not everyone sees DayZ as a military sim? ;3

Character couldn't be loaded. It has been reset. An admin has been notified.

It's not fool proof, but if you reset a server DIRECTLY after you lose your items, it can rollback. I think it works better on more populated servers. Essentially, it tries to save too many items at once by spamming it, and so some people's loadout doesn't get saved. -
You didn't read the OP.

Yes, at the moment badly damaged morphine is only cosmetic. It won't work if ruined, however.

WOOOOOT! Also, you have just contributed information to the medical community! I SHALL ADD IT TO THE ARCHIVE!

DayZ was meant to be an MMO. Due to Bohemia's servers, that isn't going to happen. DayZ is an open world sandbox survival simulator. It gives players free will. This means they can kill or survive. Often times they kill. That doesn't make DayZ an FPS or a military simulator. This isn't ArmA, BF or god forbid CoD. Go play a different game.

Because Dean came out and said that the environment was meant and still is supposed to be the main antagonist. Yes, it does add depth to the game to have KoS'ers. But I really wish that people would quit thinking this is CoD and not shoot me every time I approach them.

We are talking about the fundamental aspects of a game. Not "gimmicks". Look, believe it or not, some people ENJOY PvE. Deal with it.

BREAKING NEWS: Activists clad in motorcycle helmets protest in the streets of Chernarus!

I thought Dean wasn't leaving until a year from now? Either way, it's sad... I am a legitimate Dean Hall fan boy. And DEAN DUDE YOU'RE BREAKING MY HEART! :( I am a sad doctor today.

Thrown items are being worked on, with physics. :D

That's scary. I'd hate having to live every waking moment in DayZ in even more fear that a sniper is going to blow my brains out at any given moment...

Not even arrows. If you've ever shot a bow, they are much like the speed of a gun. Especially if you use copper or steel.
