Core mechanics and bugs should be adressed at a later date. I assume adding more items = more bugs, so why change bugs and core mechanics and THEN add items and do it all over again? -

I believe that DayZ has an internal desync. Not sure why, though. Note: By desync, I mean that your character is out of sync with when you press the button.

Dean is adressing the FPS issues. (by the way, it really annoys me you complain about 50 frames. T_T) Anywho, I run DayZ at around 20-30 FPS and have an enjoyable experiance. But the issues are being solved; it's a problem with the way the game renders all the polygons in buildings.

3rd person was added because it was already in the ArmA engine. Your FoV is actually the same in both perspectives, but in 3rd person the camera is above and behind the player. This gives the illusion that 3rd person has more. Furthermore, it's adjustable anyway. -

In Rust, they implemented radiation around military bases for no reason what-so-fucking-ever lore wise. And look, the zeds in DayZ aren't dead or infected with some weird spore. They are living, sentient, demented people, hit with a terrible disease. A virus strand that is submitted via saliva. Your character is immune. My theory, is that a small amount of people were given vaccines. Just a theory, but again, you're shitting on the lore.

Loot spawning is balanced. But people spawn on the coast. The map isn't small, but it isn't big either. As a matter of fact, they're working on expanding it even further.

What about the STG44? It was the precursor to the Kalishkanov AK47, though it was German produced. It is largely acreditied as the first modern assault rifle in the East. :D
