I'm going off of in game rounds. The Mosin 9/30 uses 7 X 59, I know because I've been lugging around a lot of it lately. Those rounds are for the Mosin Nagant rifle. Though, they are easily confusable. :D

7.62 X 59 mm rounds. They are found not in a box, but a tin. It's a high power cartridge, and is known to pierce ballistic helmets. Do not confuse it with the smaller 7.62 X 39 mm rounds, which fit the SKS.

I'd say that if you are in to the game for features, you would probably love the mod. But in order to get it, you need both ArmAII and Operation Arrow Head. In my opinion, it would be worth it. But it all depends on your play style. :D

So, my fresh spawn buddies were looting Elektro on a high pop server. I was tasked with overwatch. My friend said a couple unfriendly bambies had knocked him out and were moving to the industrial area. I repositioned on Noob Hill, and got eyes. I took aim at one, now geared up in a hard hat with my friend's melee weapon- a knife. 200 meters, 1 mildot... Crack. The round shattered the hat and he dropped like dead weight. His friend sprinted out and buggered off. My buddy grabbed his knife and continued. Happy times.

He punched out my buddy, so hell-to-the-no. Besides, pretty sure he wasn't waking up from that to begin with. XD

I played on a regular server today. At first, I thought the game ACTUALLY WAS changing. I was up at some towns near the NEAF. In one town, I met a guy who was armed. He didn't shoot, we just went our separate ways after a short chat. Later, I met 4 PEOPLE in the same town, all armed to the teeth. Two of them, who were together, had no guns. The other two did... Not a shot was fired, and I exchanged friendly words with both of them. I saw that the game wasn't changing when I left. I was about half a kilometer away from the area, and I heard two mosin rounds crack off in the distance. The armed guys shot and killed the others... I just lived because they didn't want to risk shooting someone with a gun.

Sounds super nice! But one problem... When base building is implemented, ANYONE will be able to kick in your door.

I played COD. I can confirm, it won't become COD... But if we aren't careful, the survival aspect will be squashed and this will be ArmA. A server is connected to a hive. A hive contains the data for characters, maps, loot, ect. ect. Totally separate. :)
