I am a second generation fisherman, and I can say, that the only way you will be able to fix the whole "trout accuracy" issue, is to add streams- though, with BI's current map making tools, I can see this being very tedious. The reason why? Trout and salmon spawn in streams. Hence fish migrations, they return to their home stream to spawn in.

Alright, now the meat n' bones of my advice Whenever you are being attacked, always prioritize on eliminating the threat- not locking the door. That is a temporary solution to a permanent problem. Next, ALWAYS shoot in first person. After the threat is eliminated (all of them), then focus on getting your guys patched up. THEN you lock the door.

Nah. Here in Colorado, they fill ponds/small lakes with Trout. They can't spawn in them, but they can definitely survive. So, I bet the best explanation for Chernarus' trout, is that they stocked them before the outbreak. ...But yeah, rivers. :D

I would want private hives to kill server hopping. But I also really don't want private hives, because they destroyed the mod. Modded servers popped up- EVERYWHERE- you couldn't just play vanilla DayZ anymore. It sucked ass, I don't want to always be playing on "US EPOCH! SELF BLOOD BAG! 50000000000 VEHICLES! MILITARY LOADOUT! NO ZOMBIES! AI MISSIONS! VEHICLE TOWING! SAFEZONES!!!!!!!!"

This is not true. Whether or not a server resets your character seems almost entirely random. A server's name is just used to either attract, or scare away potential players. For example, if someone wanted to attract players, they could say "INCREASED LOOT NUMBERS! NO KOS! 24/7 DAY!" But, even more annoying, is if people want to scare away players so that they can loot up and be a KoS dickface on another server. "DO NOT JOIN! SERVER INSTABILITY, CHARACTER WIPES ARE GUARENTEED!!!" ^ These are the only servers I can bring myself to server hop for supplies, just to guarentee that the one dick on the server can't get the gear. Then I hand it out to freshspawns.

A system could be implemented, like an advanced ragdoll or just special animations in general Where bullets impacting different areas of the body enduce different physical effects! i.e Explosion behind you and to your left. Left side of body lurches forward, and you are knocked to the ground temporarily. This can even be implemented into a more complex injurie system i.e, shattered ribs, dislocated shoulders, ect. Point blank, shot in stomach with a magnum/shotgun- Incoluntary lurch backward of the stomach, fall onto your knees, hit the ground and possibly die/be immobile. Say at one point, we get .60 cal sniper rifles or something of equal velocity added into the game A round from this gun whizzes close enough to your head, and the air collapsing around the round is enough to give you a concussion/make you stagger Hit with an SKS in the shoulder while running across a field or something of the lot 180 spin, grip shoulder, and collapse sideways. Hit in the knee by a large enough round, while running (from the front) Knee breaks, and your running momentum cuples with the energy from the round snaps your leg like a twig (Gore system!!!) Also, vital organs! Things like kidneys, hearts, liver, lung- areas to hit that would make aiming for center mass/riding up recoil worth while Arteries, which require a turniqutte to stop bleeding if hit? An oxygen need! As long as your lungs are in good shape, you are not underwater, and not in a gas/confined space for too long, will replenish. :D Smoking could play a role into this later, as well as the vital organs. Poison gas/smoke bombs/tear gas could be added, which affects vision, drains health and makes the gas mask useful! Thoughts?

It probably won't happen, but I would like to see a more complex ballistics and impact system once physics is fully implemented. Say you are trying to run from a fire fight. You are hit in the back by a high velocity round, i.e, 7.62 X 51. Your back arches on impact, and you stumble forward and fall to the ground. Also, gore systems!!! Say you are in a firefight, reloading behind cover. Your knee is showing, and it is hit. It bends sideways and breaks, nearly blowing the kneecap off and immobilizing you.

Defibrillation is not used to bring someone back from the dead. Death = dead, no taksies backsies. A defibrillator is used to treat fibrillation- a form of irregular heartbeat that constricts blood flow.

Alright, so I was playing on the Zappclan server, because I find it fun to get in firefights with their oh so immature community. I head up to the airfield, by this time fully kitted with a Mosin and the first engraved 1911 I had ever procured. I am pushing up the airfield, being careful of any people. I push up the stairs into the ATC, and I hear footsteps. So, I push into a corner and evaluate my situation. I find a guy come down the stairs, and he looks right to where the stairs would be with an SKS- But the tables have turned! I am behind him! So I say "Hello?" "Who are you?" "Who are you? Respond or I will shoot." He tries to log. 30 seconds was more than enough to shoot him in the dome. Then, HIS buddy comes down the stairs, in the EXACT SAME (obviously duped inventory) and panick logs. :facepalm: Welp, then I hear SKS rounds outside. Just so happens, these fine gentleman also each had an SKS. A random ass, unarmed player sprints up the stairs, yelling "FRIENDLY FRIENDLY FRIENDLY DON'T SHOOT ME SIR" "what's up?" "There's a random guy with an SKS trying to kill me D:" "Ok, stay in the corner, I'll get you out of this alive. Log out, I'll handle it mate." "Ok..." He logs, after I give him my Mosin and PU scope. I pick up the SKS, and mutually agree with myself that I am going to die. I mentally kiss my engraved 1911 for some goodluck. "ALRIGHT, COME UP THE STAIRS, AND DROP THE GUN!" "I AM FRIENDLY THOUGH!" "BULLSHIT!" From this point on, he says nothing. He goes comms quiet. "YOUR FRIEND IS DEAD." Nothing. I hear footsteps, but I derped out and had my headphones on reversed. They sounded like they were coming from the stairs, but they were ACTUALLY coming from the top of the ATC :facepalm: He flanked me out, and I shot him twice in the gut with an SKS. I take around 4 of the 6 rounds he fired, and drop. He even double tapped. So, good job, bandits. The one guy in your group with any skill probably saved your gear. :thumbsup: I will miss you, 1911.
