I would say all guns are over used in games, old, new and completely made up. Makes no odds, 1 bullet can kill, and this, is........................ dayz'ed manhunt.

Been keeping my eye on it in steam, but i dont think they have posted any new screen shots of it yet. I shall be certainly checking it out on our WWW :). Thanks man. I do have hopes for dayz and i am rooting for it, but, the problem is the same as always with completely open servers on multiplayers, other blooming people. :) lol.

Encountered 1 hacker in 116 hours. Mr invincible, and a thoroughly annoying chap he was. Got jumped by him and he knocked me out, took my pack, my lass put a couple of mosin rounds in him i got up and we both shot him more and laid into him. Guy looked like a blood fountain as he run around for 5minutes full of bullet,axe and pitch fork holes. THen he went for a swim for another 5mins, never bandaged. We stood on the coast after exhausting our ammo at him, waitd for him to come out, laid into him again, he just punched us both knocked us both out and took most our stuff and said, "ha ha ha noobs, you fail". Rather amusing, didnt know you could fail Vs hacks.

Not condoning you guys argument, lol. But, your right in this and even the devs are wrong if they are throwing it out on the grounds of "realism", quite simply it isnt realism. None of these arm chair psychos would be like this in a real world breakdown, infact they probably would be dead in two weeks most likely because tesco was closed. lol. Unfortunatly, this isnt realism and most likely never will be. OH, just by watching it on steam bud, on the front store page you have that graph of people online if you click on that it goes through all the top played games and how many are playing them, current and peak daily. I think the skin idea is a good one really, and people cant say oh no about it really on the grounds of realism", because, this literally is not real, proved by 9/10 blowing you away on sight. When if in real life probably 1000/1001 would just be over joyed to find another human being. They dont want to paly it as realistic as it should be, so be it, give them skins.

Some nasty lame console ports there man, Meaning more multiplayer too. Not seen anything of this zombie U but ill check that out too, dying light same again, console port. Got no interest in any of them at all. However there is another i didnt mention, dead linger as well. So my hopes are laying on 7 days to die and dead linger, this is just a PvP kill fest with some infected thrown in, and i know, before its said its alpha, but i dont see how it will be much different completed. We really gonna be hunting, shooting game* gutting cooking and serving,when we are getting hunted by 3/4 of the server.... lol... "Hey bub..... I hit the rabbit"... Spot on, me and my lass play this together, so we are only two. Whether we are armed unarmed, back pack or no back pack, bullets fly. BUt yeah the people hunters are total as*hol*s, had one 3 man team that took out my lass from outside the window, she had virtually nothing. A childs back pack i think balck tshirt jeans and a flatcap lol., i saw them when i poked my head through the door wondering who had killed her and i saw two out the window. Fully geared, army troopers i believe they were. lol. I ran down a gully with bullets whizzing past, then i rounded on them, went round the back where they had been, no sign, went to the nearest police station, werent there, then i heard someone eating out back of it in the bushes, i drew weapon and .... server reset. AHHHHHHHHHHHH :). One or two things like this would be fun, somthing different, but its not. Its just a slaughter fest with some irritating infected thrown in. Gonna be keeping our eye on 7days to die and the dead linger i think. This looks beyond hope already.

There is more people who are having far more negative than positive here now, id say they will drop another 5k players in the coming month, encounters are 9 times out of ten, if they are armed they will shoot you, and even when they arent armed they will try knock you out for what you have, even if you both have nothing they mostly just want to beat you to death for the sake of it, or they really want a different color tshirt or your flashlight battery, this game is a PVP slaughter fest, simple as that.

Strange, every full hardcore ive been in everyone has killed me, on sight, no talk, all trigger, even though im always friendly, rarely armed or even have a back pack. And im not alone, this game has lost alot of players in the past few month down to this. 40k were playing dayz consistantly not so long ago, now its peaking at about 23 - 27k. As far as i recall that is, not saying they all left to this reason, but, if you want a none stop kill fest, may as well boot somthing up you start on an even playing field with, like, all the rest of the shooters out there. Solutions are needed, i think the OP is spot on.

Really? so there is loads of open sandbox zombie survival horror games?...... Cant think of one at all.. Besides 7 days to die, but they are throwing in some cheesy sounding mutations into that.

Basically just as it states, this will solve so many problems at the moment. Just allow them while its alpha, simple as that. Still get the testing done, and people can avoid the KOS maniacs, hackers, bug exploiters etc etc etc. Just allow them for petes sakes.

Hopefully once its completed the modders will give the many that want "real" zombies and not infected people. For now, we have a 28 days later PVP slaughter fest. Totally with you though, but, just as many are happy with infected. Shame, wish id not taken the Z on Dayz to mean zombies.

Shotguns BOOM STICKS and ill add chainsaws totally, i wanna be boarding up houses from a horde of zombies with my lass, i want to be playing a apocalyptic zombie survival horror game, bought the wrong one here didnt we :D lol.

Most of the time we arent even armed :D lol, nothing hostile about us at all. When we got this game we had visions of boarding up houses with a ton of zombies breaking their way in, what we have got and by the strong looks of it only ever going to get, is basically a PVP military based slaughter fest very little different than what we saw in the mod, COD so on and so forth every other multiplayer shooter. Looks like 7 days to die is gonna get tried for us, this isnt what we paid for. Sorry again man.

Stick to empty servers man, only way you get a "zombie survival horror" out of this game, or infected should i say since these arent even zombies, but you go in a server with people 3 out of 30 will probably be ok. The rest are just killers and people hunters. They need to change the store page for this game, nothing zombie or survival about it as it stands now, its just a PVP slaughterfest, would of bothered with the shootemups in the past 10 year if i wanted to play one of these. Ignore the people "dissing" you, they only know one way of playing games, group up and kill other groups (or loners) since thats all the vast majority has ever done. In a "real life" event of civilization collapse however, these people would be the ones begging for help first and be dead within the first two week if tesco shut.

My votes on invisible/glitched/botched infected.

My apologies, me and my lass are having a rather naff time on this game at the moment. Typical example happened just last night, as fresh spawns we were in berezino, went to the shop and to the water supply, at the water supply was two armed guys, i spoke to them, told them we are unarmed, fresh spawns, we just want the water, we will wait till your done, we wont watch where you are heading, we just need to water to get hydrated, they said ok, just wait. So we did, they both took there guns out and blasted us.. Typically what we are getting in this game and quite frankly its just completely ruining it, this isnt a "zombie survival horror", (the reason we bought this game) this is just a multi player kill fest and its F*** us both right off. My apologies again for my comment.

No i think he was refering to the start........ and i fully agree. This game wont last long. People like this just make it the same as every other FPS multiplayer out there. Utterly pointless expecting much else though from 90% of online gamer's.

I can understand them doing so really, to avoid the problems other players predominantly bring with them, KOS, hacks etc, . But, if they get reported for doing it a few times, they will end up getting their server shut down. If people want to pay the grossly over priced costs of a server, they should be able to do as they please in it and with it. If it was allowed to be password'ed then at least people wouldn't waste their time joining. I just cant think of much else at this early stage that could help this game as it is now, because ive seen alot of posts from people who have had enough already of this kill fest purgatory, and you only have to look on the numbers on steam of people playing to know its dropped significantly.

Simply you dont get to play how you want because others dictate how it comes down, KILL OR BE KILLED.
