The challenge and saga of Zombie Pathfinding
Mr Sinister replied to SmashT's topic in News & Announcements
That's true. :). There is one thing to be very hopeful on though i will say at the moment. The private banking elites dictatorship has been spotted by millions (finally) across the globe, and the tide is turning. :). I know my grandfather would be happy to see it coming from every corner of the internet, he was in WW2 spent 5 years as a POW. Alot happened to him, and he taught me alot too. The one thing that gives me real pleasure is the thought of these people squirming because since the largest scale fraud ever commited from the people to the banks/bankers, it has snowballed on them entirely. Watching the mainstream media in complete misinformative overdirve too gives me great pleasure also, :) the more they speak of what truly means nothing to the general public, the more the public looks for their own answers to this financial cataclysm we are all perched over. The best of times the worst of times, i actually thank the bankers for over playing their hand in 2008. They did humanity a favor, they "woke" millions up to their presence. -

I wouldnt even say im that tight on cash just yet (had things been different for the family and we weren't robbed by liar's i would actually be a very well off person). And with the current system, i think its obvious that no matter how hard you work, we are heading for the crapper, for example its been proved in cyprus how far they are willing to go to literally tell the corporations to pull their money out of the country and then raid the savings of the common man/woman. Even if this isnt to happen its blatantly obvious we are heading for currency devaluation or the death of it completely. Pointless working hard, may as well earn minimal and spend the time you have doing the things you enjoy. And yes i have made a number of comments about the progress of this game which have been perhaps slightly unfair and defiantly "ski-wiff" so to speak, with my complete built in pessimism with how far people are willing to go to completely rip of vast numbers of people to make the quick buck, we see it endlessly in life, from family,to company, to bank, to the head of the snake, (the government and private banks all governments "borrow from") just an endless line of people leeching the back end out of us all. But i wasn't meaning any of that at all in my most recent comment about dayz, its good to see what they have laid out and i wish the team good luck, i do hold my hands up and admit, there are exceptions in life. From time to time. :). -

Maybe i should of stated in my post "as long as you have a clue about the bankers, and whats going on in the financial/monetary and economic system of the west", plus family and personal experiences too at the hands of government and corporation which can make you that way as well with your line of thinking, you will be very pessimistic of pretty much everything. -

Long ago, after a great many things in life i became the kind of person to say things as i see them. Like this now, ive seen what they have planned and are pushing out and ive acted/commented appropriately, linked hicks stream a few days back and gave a thumbs up to it all. Things in life will teach you when you double your age to be rather, erm, pessimistic about a great many things, in particular when anything involves money. Its easy to be so trusting and have a much "rosier" out look etc when that paper gets plonked into your hand by parents. Wait till your 32. -
http://www.twitch.tv/hicks_206/b/529096542 Hicks answered alot of questions last night on his stream. Cant for the life in me remember if it was brought up though. Was a long one, 2 hours.

What dayz could have been without zombies
Mr Sinister replied to gibonez's topic in General Discussion
If this game actually makes it to completion, im pretty certain modder's will. -
Yeah, Snowden actually worked for them... So if it was an "inside job" maybe they should reevaluate their staff... lol.... Well, perhaps like sony did when they lost a few million peoples credit card information, perhaps BI will step up its security a little now, especially with all that extra cash they got from this standalone. Funny thing though, what on earth could anyone want the code for huh..... Perhaps a disgruntled set of fans think they can do it better. Couldn't do any worse i say. lol.

Wouldn't take much to remove zombies on completion. As long as dill-hole-hall and BI allow modding upon its completion like it states on their rather laughable "roadmap". -
Now that is unusual, since sarcozy/cameron were front line in getting him killed off. A real Shame though, gadaffi's Gold Dinar could of changed africa for the far better, and shown the west the illusion we truly live and possibly drastically changed us also... Oh well..... Its "debt" all the way for some more years still until people wise up...

LOL. Cutting edge security, guess they didn't spend any of the profits on that either then. Shine on.

The Current State Of Development - DayZ - Understanding the Development Process
Mr Sinister replied to Irish.'s topic in General Discussion
Maybe i fall into the category (or sweeping generalization) you have brought up regarding people who get more vocal about their disappointment/dissatisfaction/disillusionment, but, it is becoming evidently obvious that this will not reach beta when they stated, and it falls in place well like the rest of the long list of delays continuously for the standalone, i think personally what has struck the most people is that the rather huge injection of revenue it has received hasn't translated to faster development and i like many others think its pretty disgraceful. Plus, when it isn't into beta when they stated and it hits the end of the year when that dean hall has said he is leaving (another gripe for many im sure, personally not too bothered though because i don't think much of that person at all), then will he stick around/stick to his word for the beta completion? quite frankly and quite bluntly, will he boll*cks. Hence why i have said cash grab referring directly to that person in the past. -
Soo... Should I go Mod or Standalone?
Mr Sinister replied to Iperrymarkz's topic in General Discussion
The mod can be a great game if your fortunate to come across the right server with good admins, and for what you are looking for. many are quite the same, same 500+ vehicles, snap building etc so on and so forth. But some have like walking zombies and really good admins too (old style zombie fan so i enjoy the walking dead style servers). If i had the choice though now, i would just buy the mod and buy the standalone in about 6 months, unless you want near on pure PvP and dont mind it, with no building of any kind, no hunting and dont mind spending many hours running across a map. The standalone has very few + points over the mod as it stands now. The inventory system is better........ erm.... the graphics look better.... more character customization...... erm..... struggling.... that is all. Just keep in mind that the standalones progress is pretty much stand still at this moment in time. -
To be honest you will be lucky if you will build a fire place in two months on stable on this, at least that so called " crappy game" has a lead dev that gives a s*it and hasnt just taken a cash grab while the going has been good. But dont worry, ill be off, ill come back and read up at the end of the month, and when there is barely anything again added to stable ill just leave it to everyone else to voice their opinions. I wont even need to say a thing, because month after month it becomes more obvious that this is not going to be in beta at the start of 2015, will be lucky if its at the end of 2016 with these unproffesional money grabbing losers at the helm. Enjoy the wait, while they enjoy the millions.
-
Im not bothered by a wait, i stopped playing long ago. THe problem is that compared to other alphas out there of the same genre, with far less financial backing, and supposedly far less experienced teams, this is going less than slow, infact its utterly appalling. And just like the proverbial dean hall as*s kissers like you, people like me have every right to have our say.
-
thnx for the pic go @ jsroberts08 from reddit You mean the road map they are behind on, yeah. Fireplaces, can cook and craft them etc. Worst case end of april, its mid may....... and by the looks of it since there is nothing on experimental, there will be little to nothing for stable again this month either.
-
http://7daystodie.com/ Wow look at the progress here for 7 days to die. And look at the progress for dayz. 7 days to die, far smaller team, only 250k sold, far less resources. And what have we got here a team with 60million dollars thats supposedly experienced and professional........... Quite simply........ my ass.

Experimental Branch saw many changes in 0.44
Mr Sinister replied to SmashT's topic in News & Announcements
lol, well someone has got to, since the devlopers at their snails pace arent adding sweet F A. Roll on when they release it and the modders can get their hands fully on to it i say. We will actually get a good game then. -
Two maybe three arm lengths away the zombie/infected "one shotted" you in the head at the same time you shot it, they really are f****** abysmal aren't they, even the zombies in the mod are better than the garbage we have to endure in this .

A very busy couple of weeks for the whole team has just ended....
Mr Sinister replied to SmashT's topic in News & Announcements
Spot on was that neo, at the end of the day on the forums we occasionally see what the devs are having for tea pop up or them kissing someone elses backsides and or someone kissing theirs. We dont give a proverbial da* about that. We want to know what is going on, without having to trawl about the WWW for answers on a project people have furnished them a healthy amount for. They had a so called "dream", we the people paid for that dream, now lets at least hear about its progress. Unprofessional is putting it mildly, this is down right appalling, and in the very near future ill be one of many that will get my money back. Ive spent thousands on steam in the 6 years ive used their platform, and they sure wont want to lose me as a customer, ive done it before, and ill be able to do it again. -
Wont see anything much for stable at the end of this month, it will be the end of next month im willing to bet. Then lets see how they defend it.... oh yeah silly me... "Alpha patrol GO!!!!!!".

I keep coming back on the forums to check up on things, become somewhat of a ghost town really of anything constructive, from them or us likewise. Although, what the heck is there really for us to say besdies, lets see what the end of the month brings. Not holding any hope for much myself. Enjoy the wait everyone. -
Your comp is better than mine, im on a 2ghz quad core with only 4 gig of ram and a radeon 4670 and i can run it fine as it stands now. Maybe in another year it wont, but the development is that slow im not sweating personally that i may come on to see a patch and not be able to run it any time soon.
