Also added this in the community-banlist. I hope he read this, the loser.

Is it possible to set a warning in the server-text to only save vehicles and tents within the map-boundaries? We have our own server and play know for a while and we discovered yesterday that a group of players are playing outside the map boundaries. They have at least 4-5 vehicles, boats at shore (we found) They not playing the game with other players on the server, they are playing their own game. Can it be a server- rule to save all vehicles and tents inside the map as on http://www.dayzdb.com/. That way other players has also a chance to get some wheels. Vehicles are saved only 24 hours by the hive, but they refresh them within these 24 hours i think. I think playing outside map, duping tents etc is a form of cheating, can we do anything about it? (welcome message with this rule etc)

Thank you!! I have only 1 problem. He downloads the files, but the last step he din't get management (it's Curl i guess): The paths are correct, but he deletes the slashes, i also had this problem with the 'temp', so i tried this, same problem. But the files are downloaded, that's already very nice!!! -

Question, with latest scripts.txt from day.community.banlist i see this script spawned sometimes the following (mailed it also) Is this cheating? The log is also going very fast, the whole script spawns allot: Is 'whitelisting' a way to clear this up, or tells it something... I now uses always the latest files posted on http://code.google.c...munity-banlist/ Very nice way btw! Keep it up! -

Yes, only problem is that everyone get kicked... and the 'scripter' see the 'reason' of it. So the only thing to do is rename his script and execute it again. Better is to 'hide/ prevent' to execute it. He don't know what is wrong then... but is it possibile now? I guess not... :( Btw: a kick is not a ban right? So with 5, they only get kicked, not banned... to be sure... -

How can i prevent that the 'thunderdome' script is exectued? In this way i don't wanna kick (because it is run for the players). Yes, but the area is very big, i saw players driver 2 days ago 163, -010... We never saw a vehicle in the map, we think they are all outside the area, or at least not within the playing-area. It's also that if vehicles are refreshed every 24 hours that they are not wiped, even if they are outside the boundaries. Most tents have same stuff and more satchel-charges. But the tents aren't the issue, duping is taking place on great scale, it are the vehicles that can't be found and are on places outside map/ or playing area that disturbs me. Other players (including us) can't find it, because the area is to big. We have found some tents near boundaries and bike outside with truck 1 time. But it isn't fun playing this way. We only walk now on boundaries to look for vehicles... that should not be the way to play.... -
Edit: We are stopped using the Radar-tool on NL50, didn't know this is call cheating either some way... So now we just hope BattleEye does his work. Sorry for this topic, it can be closed. We don't open logs anymore.

This was a player in the playerlist with the name '. I know what you mean. The name '-' is also used for last weapon saving to the hive. But it's also used by cheaters because they know this... -
Player '-' warped himself over our map. The first picture are the lines of all players, I saw that player '-' warpend. This is possibile if he played first 1 hour on a server, and then on another and came back. But that wasn't the case when looked to the times. His 'ID" is switching all the time as you can see, while by other players this ID is constant. Also his 'login and logout' is hidden for some reason. But not in other files, they can't escape the server-console-file His GUID: 438364d2d9571b8fa03418699cb6662d Also not showt up in script.txt, but it doest worked for him. I hope he sees this and cry.

Is there a tool to read the logs fast that detects weird scripts/ actions from players, so i can ban those players and report them here? Also, what are the best files to read and what actions are suspicious? Is there a hackerlist? I see names with id's, why i should not ban them directly from my server if i see reports on these forums...

Common, there shold be some guidelines to identify wrong scripts right? Hackers must be stoppend, how we do that if nobody help identify scripts or build some guide to identify illigal scripts? Or is it impossible to identify? Then i stop seeking hackers and hope that they will dissapear from the servers.... Is there no dayz-teammember that can provide some tips? / or script-goeroe...

I'm one of the admins of NL50 - e-noobs.nl and I can assure you we can't do this as admins. We play ourself on the server and we get shot by other players, but we aren't that lame that we going to kick or something (but this wasn't the case I see). We have no superpowers as admin and we are just normal players like the rest of us. The only thing we can do is: *restart the server for the right GMT *install latest patches/ updates *kick players if we know for sure they are cheating (not happened yet, how can we see?) If we restart the server we do several announcements when this is taken place (10 / 5 / 1 min / latest call). I don't know what causes your death... maby cheaters? I don't know... but not some admins with superpowers on NL50 (we are with 4 admins). Server is hosted on Vilayer.com. http://www.e-noobs.nl/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5

Our host is at Vilayer, is this patch automaticlly done? We already installed the 1.7.2.4... If this isn't the case, where can we find the files for the hotfix/ how can I see if our host have installed this hotfix already. We still have trouble with vehicles and tents. -

Don't host a server if you don't want to follow the rules on this moment. You can discuss it 500 times, but the end conclusion will be the on this moment the same: 1-Yes, you pay for the server / community, so you have the right to get control over it. 2-You don't have the right to kick players 3-Yes, that sucks, because you don't have the option to have reserved slots. Hopefully this is possibile in the near future. If you don't agree, don't host a server.... If you agree, host it, but you know the rules. -

SYncing with the hive is only when connecting and disconnecting right? I think the sync-issues are not bugs of connections to the hive, but connections with the player-and-server. Why it should sync with the hive when riding a car?
