    Just thought all the servers went down after a session lost, but not sure. I think they are working on fixing certain issues, so that'd be nice! Anyone else can confirm servers down? It seems there's less servers when refreshing the list, only three or four show up.

    Yeah, that does sound like a fun little plan there. But if they transfer their infection to the animals... and we eat them... we run with the Zeds next time... B) I actually was able to play for about 30 minutes altogether, there are three servers showing up, one kicked me after about 10 seconds (no message received), the second one wouldn't let me access anything in my inventory so I couldn't bandage and switched once more. The third one was full to the brim (of course) and even though I was just on a hill by a small town I had some lag and quite crunch on FPS. It's okay though, patience is a virtue. ^_^

    Sometimes I think they are even able to kill it, so you kill the Zed and harvest some nice steaks if you have a knife handy ;)

    Thats been happening for a while now, but I think they are reworking the Zeds not to do that anymore. Too bad cause I think it's funny as hell :P

    So it's 7 p.m. in Europe right now. I doubt they'll fix it unless they work Saturdays :-/ Too bad, because yet again the one little stash I had is now not accessible anymore. But I want my Zucchini back! And my favorite Fresh, damaged Banana! :( :o

    Euphoria, thanks for the hint on the "can't join server after restart", that totally worked! Was your group 5 people strong on Hardcore either Southwest or South Central server? I saw a larger group running around earlier and I was wondering if that was you when I just read this. (Sorry for the off topic!) - After a server restart zombies became completely invisible and "Could" still hit you but you can't hit them. 3 guys I was gaming with also found this bug. Had the same problem, so I just bugged out for a while. Thank you for your review, interesting read!

    Man, I finally had a little food to put aside and no backpack, so I leave it at my favorite base camp, come back half an hour later - all gone. I had to cry a little, cause I was hungwy :( (And yes - I did check to make sure I was on my "home" server where I always keep my stuff.) I think this might be better when you stash it in a backpack and leave that in a spot of your choice. BTW - another thing that's been hard to come by, backpacks, the taloon ones. Child Briefcases are rare compared to before the patch, but findable.

    Ah, that door thing explains a lot then. I was wondering about that. Crappy thing is, it was nice to go into a closed house and not worrying about open doors in the back, cause Zombies will use them, and that makes it harder as a freshie. But hey, it's just getting more survival-y I am so confused by all the changes to the hit boxes (I think since 44 version they changed it almost every update a little, I just started swinging and praying. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'll figure it out eventually, but then I always had trouble with the zeds. Second best seems to be the hoe, almost works as well as an axe. What do you guys think about loot respawning? Is it pretty much working by now?

    Pickaxe as melee is probably one of the worst decisions I have made so far. It keeps missing no matter where you aim - off to the right, left or above the head, it never seems to hit correctly. Thank goodness I finally found an axe! Shovel, Crowbar and Fire Extinguisher are still as much a joke as a baseball bat, but for some reason that makes sense. I don't know if it's the pickaxe, the hitbox, the swing of it, but it should provide a ton of damage similar to any axe. Just my two cents. Also I have trouble opening / closing doors. It seems to have gotten much harder to find the sweet spot - and for some reason some doors are open while others are closed when normally players open every door in a building. I don't know how to explain it, it just seems so random. And: Game ain't crashing if you open the can of whatever, throw in on the ground, and then select eat all.

    Well, it ran for about 30 minutes, and then crashed while eating an apple, if that's got anything to do with it at all. But it runs, and it does so smoothly most of the time. When I spawned in, two Zeds were on me already. No hyper-/ hypothermia occurred although I got soaked quite a bit.

    You're gonna have to gear up again anyway. At some point you'll always have to gear up again, and it's not getting any easier, so do it while you have the time and energy, so you can focus your efforts on actual game play. :P I apologize for the double post, I'm not quite awake yet.

    The Hobbit is one thing, I've watched 11 complete seasons of Family Guy, and now I have nothing to do with myself waiting for the next update :-( The waiting isn't the hard part, it's how to wait that breaks me. :D But we can see they are working on it! Yay! Hang in there, folks!

    Thanks Hicks, and you guys take the time you need. I'd rather have a working version that's taking some more time than a hastely put together half-thing that would have to be fixed yet again. :)

    Finally, home! I've been following the forum all day, so we have the choice trying to play as is or waiting for around 9-12 hrs.... hmmm... I'll play ;) I guess it's just all about patience with this patchy patch, but tomorrow I hope they get it done. :thumbsup: Edit: Uhm... yeah, crashed after 2 minutes hard enough to have me restart the computer. Back to stable for a night or two.

    And the mega loot spawn servers are back too. I didn't actually expect them to fix that yet, but I was somewhat happily surprised. The faster you gear up a bit, the more you can test. Too bad I'm about to die of hypothermia again... <_<

    Also it appears that you cannot dry your clothes anymore, just inspect them. Drying didn't do much since you go from soaking to damp in 5 minutes anyway, but yeah.

    So I've tried again and died again due to this whole hypo-business. Now my question is this: Do those bugs only pop up once they are being pushed to experimental, and that's when the Dev's notice these somewhat extreme bugs over the bug tracker? I kinda always imagined there was testing involved before it is being patched into experimental, but I guess that's not the case. Is there someone who'd be nice enough to explain this to me?

    I found a fire axe within the first 8 minutes, so they do spawn, but after that I have not seen any axe at all. Crowbars etc. seem to be fine though.

    You seem to get stuffed faster too, and I am really annoyed by having to creep up the stairs again. Hopefully they'll hotfix this temperature thing soon. Aaaand I just died again. Welp, time for a break I suppose. Too bad.
