Read up ^ about the HDD well currently I can't even record dayZ with a steady fps due to all the lack of optimization but I am also trying to record at 1080p quality and at full gfx :) but I have not actually tried to record with the integrated GPU i can't see it being bad though esp with graphics dumbed down, just make sure you install the AMD Catalyst drivers for the GPU to make sure you get maximum performance from your GPU YES SSD is the way to go my friend I recommend the OCZ Agility or Vertex brands I love ABSOLUTELY LOVE my agility 3 installs windows 7 from usb no more then 7minutes (minus windows updates) when your getting in to SSD's though you MUST run your SATA in AHCI mode to protect your SSD's lifespan (it's easy to switch it from SATA/IDE mode to AHCI) before you install windows it needs to be AHCI (Auto Host Control Interface) it is what lets your windows tell your SSD when to permanently delete an object from it to free up space again with out that your ssd will just fill up and then be read only eventually.

That's there plan pretty much! and if you get the supporting video card you can even crossfire to use the resources of both the integrated and dedicated. well with my A8 5600k I was able to play APB:R (which has a lot of custom logo/gfx constantly loading for each player and there car) plays great on high with minor jitter but I would recommend medium for optimal performance and low for great performance the reasoning it plays decent on high is because it has a shorter path to talk with the CPU and the memory being built in to the CPU and beside the memory ( and yes this was without the dedicated Radeon HD7770 I added that later when my Phenom 955 Black died) WD2500 I assume you mean harddrive? any harddrive as long as it SATA connector is compatible. IDE is well past it's life cycle and has been dropped from most motherboards over the last 3 years

OR for $120 + tax you can get an AMD quad core A8 6600k at 3.9GHz /4.4GHz Turbo (keeps it in warranty) with 8GB DDR3 1600MHz for $80ish and a decent FM2 Motherboard for $80/$150 and the 650Ti and everything will be peachy (PNY GTX 650Ti is $149 w/ a lifetime warranty) and that's what I use and well lets say I can play max gfx but it's not optimized yet... but I can also play things like WoW, AA PG, APB:R etc etc all on max gfx with out lag (other then latency of the internet) in fact both systems in my signature play the game full just the game needs severe optimization.

is it possible to 'downgrade' back to stable from experimental without redownloading the whole game? would it just be easier to make a copy of both for switching back and forth? like with world of warcraft client versions? Edit... Also I know my character does not go over but will it wipe my character on stable or is going on experimental the same effect as going on hardcore as opposed to regular?

all you people saying guns esp military need to be "more rare" do you really think that's how it works in real life? zombie apocalypse hits all the guns just magically disappear and become rare? you realize when the military bases get over run with zombies and police stations etc those guns won't just "disappear". It sounds like to me your want the guns to be more rare so you can get your hands on the guns and prevent others from ever getting a gun and if that is the case that's shallow and unfair everyone needs and deserves equal opportunity to get a gun for the realism to be accurate since there are MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of guns in real life having military guns super rare in a game is not realistic... ammo yes that should be a bit rare as ammo in real life will deplete over time.

what I mean is if I make a copy of said game instal folder then download experimental... play on it then make of copy of experimental and place stable back over the original location replacing all files in it with stable again will that work? and vise versa?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *Catches breath* HAHAHAHAHA what did you use a $20 motherboard or something? really man AMD even with stock heatsink/fan plays games perfectly my AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black plays all games perfectly as well as my A8 5600k x4 unless the amd's you bought were like 1.3Ghz any AMD 2.4Ghz up and x64 is perfectly fine in fact when 64bit computing came in to the race is was AMD that was on top and intel to try and compete lied and used fake 64bit CPU's and they were utter garbage. it's only thanks to AMD the 64Bit computer hit mainstream and no thanks what so ever to the fake 64bit and fake multi core intels since AMD was the first to introduce BOTH not emulated. I mean my AthlonXP 1.3 Ghz sucked it ran to hot and was slow (1.3Ghz) but when i got my AthlonXP 2.5Ghz I was blazing threw windows. and then when I got my Athlon 64 3600 (2.4Ghz 64bit) and my Athlon 64 x2 3800 things just skyrocketed from that double the performance... it took intel YEARS to catch up so don't go saying "intel is better for gaming" the CPU is onl half the equation when it comes to gaming and then that's only if the games properly coded and optimized. poor code bad optimization will make anygame bad on system. as well as if a games more catered to Nvidia or ATI (AMD) will also make a difference. I quit using Intel since the p4 they were garbage and never regretted nor looked back.

I don't like the idea either if in fact it means I can no longer take shots and survive or run the map to get from one side to the other... I mean (ok I get it you want to test it first) but if they had vehicles the map run wouldn't be an issue find a gas can and a car put gas in car repair if needed and drive but that's not an option and it takes what about 40 minutes of running to get from one side to the other... now I might die because of it and then end up on the shore with no way to run back to my corpse because i will die of a heart attack trying to get back to it...

Which is why i made my post the way I did i'm annoyed becuase I want to learn the controls the game play with my wife and friends on a low pop server instead of on a high pop where before we even explore half the map we get sniped from the bluff side. but every time i tried to find a low ping low pop server they were auto kicking so i had to join a ok but not as good 90+ ping server i could easily join at high pop server thats close with 32ping but tried that myself and ran in to 3 people right away and you got it killed... though one group offered to help out but one of them was to bored of helping a new player so they left quick.

My appologies just a bit annoying with these qq'rs trying to justify there rule breaking just to hide that they are just to scared to actually play legitmatly LOL I support My wife two kids and myself so thanks but you grow up and follow the server hosting rules and don't qq that your to scared to interact with people. I think they should focus more on making the map bigger and reducing the servers and spreading the player base out more on a cloud based server kinda like WoW it's servers support something like 15K players ontop of all the mobs, profession nodes (items) loot taxi's. the bigger the map the more players (because lets face it we know if a real zombie apocolapse was to happen there would be more then 60 survivors) and since most items are static the load on the server for (custom graphics like in APB) is not heavy it's should be simple text back and forth, (I know it's alpha just a suggestion to reduce servers and ditch the private sector completely, millions play wow and they aren't allowed to host a private server infact they have to buy the game the expansions (each one) then pay a monthly fee AND now micro transactions (i know letting players HOST the servers negates the montly fee but it does not mean that the map couldnt be bigger to support 200 players per server hell even minecraft could support 500+ players on there self generating maps thats ALOT of network traffic too) so all in all you lil qq cry babies if you don't want to get pvp killed and just want to loot your own server "shoo fly" and go play minecraft and host your own minecraft server (it supports mods, you allowed to charge people to play, your allowed to lock it down and do what ever you want basically as in the rules are very very very loose)
