It's called... "The DayZ community is much more mature than any console community." If it came to console, the amount of flamers, complainers, etc. would double, triple, or quadruple. On consoles, any nice player would be a thing of the past. You ever seen those console cod players who come onto PC, I.E., woodysgamertag, whiteboy7thst, seananners, wingsofredemtion.....? If you've ever seen their videos, you've never seen them act nice to any randoms they meet. It's absolutely rediculous, it's like they missed 50% of what the game was about.

Well, I wouldn't care about the people who actually deserved it, I.E, medics, etc. But bandits who exploit the game by shooting each other in the knee then patching each other up, just to get the hero skin.

No way, the humanity stuff was added for a reason. If bandits were able to say, "No, i don't want a scarf", then no one would be able to tell if they are bandits, which is the whole point of adding the clothing.

Ummm, is there a way to manual install without having to download the huge fucking rar file? My computer has issues with huge downloads, and takes 10 times as long to download the big file than to download them individually. And, don't say use six... I hate six. Don't say use Dayz commander, I hate it. And don't say download torrent, because I don't have any way to open torrent files.

Well, I have my own code of honor. #1. If i see you, and you have high end gear that I want, you're dead. #2. If you see me first, and don't shoot, I won't shoot either... Even if you have high end gear. #3. If you're a sniper, you're dead. #4. If you help me out in any way, shape, or form, I won't shoot. #5. If you're a new spawn, I won't shoot. #6. If you shoot first, you're dead. #7. Whenever I go a' snipin, I usually do it just for the lulz... I.E., shooting near a surviver and freaking them half to death. Won't actually shoot them, though. I guess you could call me... a half bandit.

No, the sound is dependant on the ammo type, all the m-series uses the same ammo type. Except for SD mags, of course.

Wipe EVERYTHING. Get rid of all the loot that everyone has. Get rid of EVERY tent in EVERY server. Reset ALL of the vehicles. Make EVERYONE start from scratch. I would fucking love that.

M4 or M16.... after the recent nerf, the aks do less damage then m-series.

you can ctrl alt delete when you're unconcious, but when you come back in game you loose all gear except for backpack and skin. Would be worth it, though, if these exploiters decided to try this shit on me when i just spawn.

Yup. Although shifting does make quite a bit less noise. Maybe you just didn't hear him, how high do you keep your volume?

Well, sorry about what was going on today, but I was playing with my friends on steam who JUST bought the game, and they really didn't know what the fuck was going on. I was the sniper who shot the first one of you on the roof of the fire station (but you did shoot at me first), and I DID NOT disconnect when you attacked us in the market. I ran away as fast as I could, after killing two of you... but great job on killing all my friends... XD Yes, one of my friends had a m4a3 cco (hope you enjoy it, lol). But he was friendly and didn't have time to shoot. But thanks for the 4 kills, and thanks for the most fun time i've ever had at DayZ... The names I remember were Elliot, Jamie, Trayden (or something like that), and deno. Just wanted to know what you guys were doing, since you don't really figure out the full story in game... haha. I did disconnect about 10 minutes after the encounter at the market, after I made sure no one was after me, and when i was FAR from Elektro. I can't really play after that level of nervousness, haha.

Soldier clothing is hacked. No way am I looking for that shit.

If such a game was already retail, i'd fucking pay up to $60 for it. Fortunately, Rocket's not gonnna do that.

Well, usually I like going on recruit servers if I just spawned... Usually can find some friendlies in those servers.

Well, I recently started pondering the question of all those youtube commentators who are attracting people to dayz. I decided to assemble a list of the pros and cons of the influx of "noobies" into this game. Pros: Fresh meat, easier to kill noobies than ArmA 2 veterans. Really gives Bohemia a shit load of money, that we all know they really deserved for making such a badass game. Can really increase the popularity of PC gaming. Recently, PC gaming has kind of fell down in the dumps, as no one cares about us anymore. With the release of DayZ, however, we finally get the publicity we all know PC gaming deserves. Cons: A lot of those commentators are BF3 and CoD veterans who wanted to try their hand out at this game. Those BF3 and CoD players really promote the kill on sight aspect of the game, both in game and in their videos. (I don't have anything against CoD and BF3, as I think they are both gun games, but if you don't do any research into this game, and go to it immediately after playing CoD, you'll think everyone is fair game). The noobies are also usually alt-f4ers, and some of them can be hackers. Neither of which we need in this game. That's all I can think of, ATM. Please comment so I can read your thoughts on this.

Hey, I just died because I found a tractor, and I bumped it into a fence and it decided to explode. I lost: NVG's, GPS, etc.... M4A3 CCO, M24, and camo clothing. Then, when I was running to my body, the server restarted.

Well, if you reconnect then disconnect repeatedly, you might survive. Saw a video of a guy who managed to survive doing that.

Well, technically it's a AR, because it's almost exactly the same (in power) as the FAL. But, it uses DMR mags, so I guess they decided to group it with the sniper rifles.

For this character, I've never found a coyote backpack (well, I did find one but it glitches out), rangefinders, or ghillie. As far as weapons go, I'm happy with my m4a3 cco and m24 sniper. Heh, heh.

I have never actually duped anything. I don't know how to do it, and I'm proud of that fact. I have earned my m4a3 cco and m24 legitly by finding them in stary. But the duping shit just makes the game unfair for me and all those other people who scavenge for everything. On an unrelated note, where do you guys usually find camp sites? I have never found one to date, and I really would like to find one.
