wtf, ..... got in a firefight with my magnum ... what hapend??? it got ruined while in my HAND ?! whut?? and everything else was ruined as well an i just got hit in the leg .... anybody else experienced a ruined weapon you where shooting with?

this is a discussion thread about the actual 0.45 stable patch i just shared that i was killed by hack/megaserverlag .... an that sucks .. specially as they promised to get this fixed before hitting stable branch..... serverside positioning doesnt work properly to interact with other players ... you often have an other position on the server as you really have .... seen by getting hit by zombies standing anywhere else or dropped gear at an old position .... in addition about every 5 seconds somebody is loosing connection at the moment as you should have read before writing anything here alpha will not be finished until 2015

greaaattt reallly great .... just got killed by two hackers bugged into prison at NEAF .... ......this game .... or else server lagged that hard so it seemed like i was killed through wall ... but that would be even worse

the point is to built up a camp! TO SURVIVE! this is a survival game, not a shooter and if tents would simple stay at the same place and easy accessable you die you just run to your tent rearm and get into trouble again.... because nothing else to do ..... this would absolutly break the game and the perma-death feature .... just look at rust point of tents is to have a place to sleep an store food/gear in this one life so you can survive much longer without going into dangerous city and maybe get killed by some KoS cod-kiddie idiots

yeah this IS the big question, in my opinion the playstyle with servers should be changed due to "persistent" objects. As a possibility: Server has a fixed character, no respawn within hours/days, tents and loot in it as well as crates stay, but despawn with character respawn. Or tents and crates stay after death and respawn but are no more accesable to recent owner within hours/days/restart. personally i would appreciate a fixed character per server, no ghosting, serverhopping, the serverworld would be unique, better and more playerinteraction and more chances to built up persistent groups and buildings. an other option for tent/crate-behaviour after owners death could be a random replacement of loot and tents ( with helicopter-crashsite mechanics f.e., but maybe its not possible without a restart, but as a solution this server could just be not respawnable until restart and so tent-replacement ) so other players have a chance of discovering tents left by other players .......so the killed person has no place to rearm immediatly after respawn what is the main problem with persistent objects... looking at rust these respawn mechanics would also be a solution to lags due to (dis)connecting players, so players (dis)connect less at all, like altis life an other idea : tents and loot get damaged and rotten after owners death, so weapons need to be fixed with new parts for example and food ( at least fruits and meat) getting rotten maybe 10-20 minutes after death in addition a mental health indicator .... dependent on mental health the char is more likely to react against the players will, the played character would get out of control until suicide, but that would be a really hard point and would interrupt the player/character interaction/immersion, but in my opinion thats nothing bad, its a game and i have to take care of the character played by me. sorry for bad english

i am talking about the point that every second person i met had a fully equipped m4 with a lot of ammo, of course they all shot on sight.... what else to do with a M4 ..... -.- , i managed to kill one after many deaths and he even had multiple 60round stacks of 5.56 ammo, i could not use them, but maybe there already is a way again to use them odr even get a M4 by cheating .... just saying .... maybe i just had real baluck to meet everyone with a M4 they had from before or even hackers .... but really almost every second person had one .... :/

seriously. ... i really regret getting back to stable branch .... and where the fuck do all these M4s come from?? every second guy i meet(mostly by bullets) has a M4 and ammo .... and of course .... everyone has to shoot on sight .... WHY?! people WHY?! gooood ... its more like a bad shooter again ...

are there any experimental severs up at the moment? because i cant find a single one waiting for a long time and refreshing then and even set filter .... if there are .... could somebody give me an ip of an official experimental server?

new experimental is just amazing! everything smooth on a full server even while with 6 people in sight around and massive zeds .... its puuurrrrrfekt :) no lags, no rubberbanding, no lost connection, no timeouts .... only thing they didn't patched were these damn KoSler -.- xD played 2h on UK exp Hardcore good fu**in job devs!! -

sooo here is the saloon/pub whatever :P http://imgur.com/a/BenPH actually these are two saloons, one in the new city and one on the open field 200m far away from the city the bar itself is in the right on the last pic but theres nothing more special massive loot in there mostly food and ammo and nearly everytime a map :3 -

i wasnt able to make fireplaces no ... cooking does NOT work at the moment... u can put an stove on a gas can and put a cooking pot on it, it does work too and looks pretty cool turned on, the cooking pot responses to the heat by getting a more and more red background butsadly you can not put anything into the pot yet, i think pork and meat can be put in it but i dont think meat is in the game actually as there are no animals to be hunted ;)
