I am running custom settings with everything maxed out. I see rain while I am in some warehouses just figured it was a bug as it is an alpha release.

AAtlas; Where is this experimental at I want to be able to shoot that rabbit and cook it at a camp, but I can not kill it and can not cook anything no rice no beans nothing.

I like how it rains indoors. And you can be thirsty and not able to drink rain water.

I have to say no to the no head bob for realism, if there is going to be 3rd person view allowed, doesn’t seem very real to me, no third person view then yes, no to no head bob.

Vertoxis Please do not take offence, although I personally do not agree with your attitude you kind of sound like you are just egging people on. I defiantly agree with your formatting statement. Where are of you no kill on sight players playing? I am a 53 year old disabled vet. (USMC) I heard about DayZ and thought that that sounds really cool. So I thought I would buy the game get to know people make friends. Not more than 5 minutes after logging in having no clue as to how to play, someone comes up to me hey how are you doing? So I am trying to find out how to communicate with this person, and he commences to beat my ass into the ground. I go unconscious, when I wake up I get beat unconscious again, I wake up and hear someone say you take care of the zombie I will take care of him, I go unconscious again, when I wake up I hear “stay down bitch”, and go unconscious. At this point I say to my self well this really sucks so I log off. After a while I log back on and actually get to run around exploring (I love exploring) after a while I see another player who just kills me for no reason. So I know from meeting an admin on a RUST server that voice chat is very important and that I could host my own server. So great I buy a Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound I even lease a server and log in to it. So I am running around learning how to play when the screen goes black and says you are dead. So I think WTF is there any one who plays DayZ who actually wants to meet people and have fun playing a game (guess not) I have been playing for 11 days now and have met 2 players that actually spoke to me. Unfortunately they had a strong Asian accent and I have a nasal defect which even though I was born in Omaha Nebraska makes me sound like some Hill Billy that crawled out from under a rock made it hard for us to communicate. Every one else I have met I never got to meet I was just killed on sight. So if you can get over my nasal defect and don’t mind talking to some one who sounds like a Hill Billy I really would like to know where you non kill on sight players are playing.

It's a game is a lame excuse, players who disrespect you in game are the same people who disrespect you in real life.

This is so true, for example the long range scope, why only have it spawn in hangers and barracks, why can a player not find one any where else on the map, its not like no one had a long range scope that didn’t die some place other than a barracks or a hanger. Loot should spawn more often and in different locations. I have a long range scope sitting in my living room, if there was a nuclear war some one searching houses in my town would find it and say hell yah.

That’s my point stop the server hoppers and everyone can enjoy the game because there will be supplies for the “honest” players to use.

If you had bothered to read my post it states I keep pressing the “P” key this list all the players in the game, I then Wright all the names down during my game play I keep checking the player list and adding names as they appear I also take note of any one who has logged off. So servers reset every 4 hours unfortunately they even list the exact times it would be nice if it was random but it is not. Servers restart every 4 hours starting at 12:00 any one can do the math on that. So John Doe logs in right after my server resets with in 30 minutes he has logged of Hmm, 4 hours John Doe logs back in and with in 30 min logs off Hmm smells like server hopping to me John Doe number 2 logs in and 2 hours later he logs off seems to me he was there to play a game not exploit it.

Maybe I will scrap my server and play on yours (as long as you don’t server hopping cheaters.

I will make you a deal I will re read the "server admin rules" if you read the rules about not using exploits to gain an in game advantage. and you might want to get your head out of your ass and read what is being said “You are not "sure" he is correct. I know the rules I do not run my server that way I came here to see if it was worth it to me to keep paying the bills for a server and I have to ask my self why should I pay $65 a month for players like you to use the server hopping exploit to gain an unfair in game advantage that is affecting players in a server-disruptive way. Players who would like to play on a server can not enjoy their game experience because some player’s server hop to farm loot. Please log on to my server so I can ban you.

some admins are using their servers for loot farms some even state so in the server name.

What part of Standalone did you not understand? there are no hives to roll back there is one hive and a admin can not roll it back. your moms calling you.

I only see 2 companies leasing DayZ standalone servers Vilayer and Gameservers.com I have been using Vilayer and the only options I have are to kick, Ban, set server time stop and start server chose regular or hard core choose server name and use a fix my server tool.

Yes my server has done this as close as 10 minutes apart.

If your personal exploits are ok than admin exploits are ok get over it. also i do not believe there any hives to roll bask on DayZ standalone.

Irish; I my self am a USMC Vet "disabled" You sir are welcome to bring your friends to my server and play any time I might just keep paying the bills on it (provided I can get some support Issues with Vilayer sorted out) if enough decent people play on it I am not going to host it for loot farmers breaking the rules then complaining they are being abused like Solopopo there.
