Hello there! I am having this issue where I cannot figure out how to edit my DayZ mission file. I want to edit the map and add the multiple map files that I have made using the Arma 2 editor. I used the DayZmod choice under the "what map to edit" portion, instead of Chernarus, don't know if that makes a difference. I have done map edits in the past, and found it to be very fun and entertaining, but I would simply pass it on to a friend that would upload/install them himself into our server. Currently, I am trying to learn how to do this myself so I can just have fun with my clan mainly. I have tried to upload my map file to the bliss script generating webpage and have attempted to add it directly into my server's sql and it didn't work. I am currently trying to follow another tutorial but am not having any luck whats so ever. I have converted my map to 2D, and put it into the right directory (I think) but when I try to run Arma 2 through multiplayer to make a new game, just so I can merge my files, Arma 2 crashes and tells me the file is too short. I went ahead and googled that and read if I were to verify the game cache it would work but it hadn't. At the moment I am re-installing Arma 2 and will give it another shot with a map edited under Chernarus instead of DayZ, if that doesn't work then I don't know what else to do. If anyone could enlighten me on what I could possibly be doing wrong if there is an easier method, that would be awesome and greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead of time.
