The creator and development lead has said in numerous interview on a variety of media forums that the game is broken and shouldn't be purchased at this time. There is a similar warning on the Steam purchase page for this Alpha. No one who buys this game can reasonably claim they did so without fair warning that the game is incomplete, buggy, and broken in certain ways. If the dev team was misrepresenting the state of the game, yes they would be rightfully open to criticism, but this is not the case. Dean has been exceedingly honest about the condition of the game throughout the development process.

I've been attacked by invisible zeds before and Rocket said yesterday on Reddit or twitter he was having problems with invisible zombies since the latest experimental patch so it's certainly a possibility. But a one-hit kill? Just as an FYI, I was not having any lag issues at the time so not much chance I was hit several times without knowing due to lag.

Built-in dispersion factors of which the noticeable effect increases as range to target increases. From my experience the M4's dispersion is quite high (unrealistically so).

As have I, but I've never been one-hit killed by a zed while fully healthy though.

There have been quite a few reports of bullet collision issues in recent weeks.

Not sure the noob epithet was required, but whatevs...thanks for the feedback. Anyway I'm not sure who decides to snipe at 5am on a hardcore server with 3 other people in it...it's the sever I always play on and usually it busy but so early it was pretty much empty.

Agreed. The M4 should be incredibly accurate and have pretty minimal muzzle flip with control bursts. Seems like the dispersion in DayZ is over done.

Why if done accurately would it be automatically insensitive (racially or otherwise)? If it is purely cosmetic and accurately represents a specific historical Native American headdress (i.e. isn't done in a mocking or disparaging way) how is it racist or insensitive? Are the in-game boonie hats insensitive to real military veterans? Are the in-game cowboy hats insensitive to Americans who live in the Southern & Western states? Are the in-game Ushankas insensitive to Eastern Europeans? Are the in-game baseball caps insensitive to anyone who likes, plays, or has played baseball? Personally I could care less if they have a headdress in-game or not, but your argument if fatuous and boring.

Found two yesterday on experimental branch. Military base SE of Vybor, not Balota.

Anyone who is killed by other players at a military base or airfield and then comes on to the forums to whine about it and PVP in general should be insta-banned from the forums. Y'all have a nice day.
