    Low FPS On .60 EXP

    Try opening up your DayZ confg file (its in the DayZ folder in My Documents), and check the render W and H. Mine was set to 4K resolution for some strange reason, so I set it back to 1920x1080 and it fixed all of my fps problems. For reference, my specs are: CPU: Intel Core i7 2760QM @ 2.4 GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M (2 GB of graphics memory) RAM: 16 GB DDR3 OS: Windows 7 64 Bit

    I tried to join the server this morning, as I've been playing on it for the past few days and am really enjoying it, but now it says the server is locked. Any idea why? EDIT: Nevermind, server is unlocked now.

    I'm having difficulty updating to 1.8.4.1. I've downloaded the files that you posted in the first post, but what next? i've put them in the proper directories but it is still telling me I am running an incorrect version of DayZ even though the server I am trying to join is running 1.8.4.1 EDIT: Nevermind, got it.

    I don't know what's so hard about zombies. As long as you have an axe or a farming hoe, you can just hold A or D and circle around them endlessly until you land your shot. I can normally one hit zombies using that method. They're so slow up close that constantly running a circle around them makes them nearly unable to hit you. Just my personal experience though.

    Ahh, okay. That makes sense. My only concern is would re-downloading .47 have any effect on the hive save for my character I've been playing on the stable server?

    Yeah i've been playing since January (just have been a lurker most of this time), took a few months off, and have been playing again for about a week. First time I've had this problem. Other than that I'm enjoying it :)
