I got to say, it was totaly worth it. I found a good sale, so i bought my first ssd ever. I had a open slot at the top in my case. Its amacing how much of a differenct it makes. Why should everyone use first person just cause you like it? I myself only use 1st person, but its not a problem that someone else play in 3rd person. i mean what is the big deal? is it unfair? Nah,, you can see much longer in 1st person, and you get a better field of view. try killing someone at 400m in 3rd person.. lol.. Stop complaining about how others play the game, is it cause it may be unfair in pvp that someone can look over walls and you cant? if so, try playing smarter. why would you hide behind something someone can look over? haha

Do you guys have any tips on how to approach another player with the intention of talking/joining them without them feeling threatened and attack you? What If there are zombies nearby, do you keep your weapon on your back, or in your backpack, or do you lay it on the ground? Or do you simply avoid others? I've been killed by a lot of ppl, doesn't matter if I got no weapon or what gear I have, seems like ppl meet so few others that when they finally do, they are desperate for pvp action or something,, even if they only have their hands as weapons.

If I plan on playing some dayz I usually grab a 6-pack of internet speed at the supermarket on my way home.. jk I got wireless connection to my router and a crappy 10/1mbit line and I never have this issue.. maybe I'm just lucky.. If only I could drill holes in walls then I could fit a cat6 cable.

Haven't seen a heli crash after persistent servers was a thing. I do look around for them where I go, but I don't follow some map looking for them. I only found about 3 heli crashes total, and all of them had no loot on them. that was when they was first introduced.

Just wondering if they reset player characters to the coast within the past 24 hours, or if I'm just very unlucky and cant find a server with my character on,, Past 2 weeks it seems like every server out there has the same shard/hive.. I have played on UK, SE, RU, NO, FI, NL servers (both 1st person and 1st/3rd person) past 2 weeks and had the same character on all of them. I play on regular/stable btw,, have not tried experimental for a while. Today, I joined a NO server I used like 3 days ago cause it happen to have good ping and many players online, And I spawned on the coast, I then tested a RU server I can remember I have used many times, and I spawned on the coast a 2nd time another place... While I am typing I am thinking, did all servers get a private shard over night? since I didn't get the same characters on the 2 servers I tried today.. but I did that yesterday..

There us a glitch where if you do a 360 no scope with a kitchen knife its a 1 shot kill even if you miss,,, not ^^

I think you are just looking the wrong places. When I decide what buildings to check I think "would anyone bother check this building ever?" If the answer to that question is no, then sure enough there are plenty of loot inside! I have found a mosin with all 5 attachments and full military outfit on persistence server but not inside a jail building or a barrack. I find them in remote locations and in buildings not visited by others. I know that there are less loot than there used to be but this is not a big problem, it is more of a fun challenge. lets hope they don't fix this "problem" I like it!

I like how there is a thread for every type of item that ppl complain about how rare that item are. like a thread for guns, one for food and so on... ^^ I think that items in general spawn less often, and it is harder to find a item you are looking for then something else useful for some reason. Just tell yourself that you don't need or want whatever your looking for and you'll come by it faster haha ^^

Requirement #1 - Find a tent. Status: Impossible... Until you can craft a tent I will never get to hide my gear and then loose it cause of glitches and random thief.. hehe ^^

thx, It was going dark, so I used a blue chemlight. I noticed the terrain and the two bridges from the mod. 1. I'm gonna guess it looks like you are between kamenka and "the edge of the world/map" looking west (if you ignore the gas station). 2. Gonna guess there is a random shed or industrial shed of some kind along with the gas station, that would be natural ^^

ppl talk about realism all the time here,, even about pooping.. how fast would you be able to stop bandaging yourself and put the bandage back in your pocket irl? idk haha Maybe when they add/fix so you can stop the animation instantly you also drop the item you currently use (e.g. the can of food or bandage for instance) on the ground. I would at least have done that irl i bet.

I think clothing and food items(and common items like that) are able to "despawn" if there are to many of those on the server. I guess as new items spawn, old items despawn. I remember one time there was like 50 hats and shoes in most jail buildings but I have not seen that in a while. I have no proof about this, you should check the change log's that have come out since persistent items was implemented.

It really depends on your luck, I have died many times from simply not finding any clothes and food in the start of the game. I've lost faith in the berry bushes as I have tested seaching 10 times on each bush and maybe found one berry every 15min or so..I guess once you are "geared up" that this becomes less of an issue as you can kill animals and eat those. I must say that I LIKE the challenge and I wish that food and clothing stays as rare as they are.. :D
