I dont care what mode the server is on, as long as it have good ping and many players ill join it. I dont use 3rd person view myself, so for me this is not a big problem. I get that it can in some cases be unfair if another player uses 3rd person, but is that really a problem? I find it very hard to kill zombies in 3rd person, even with a melee weapon,, Try go on a 3rd person server and own some noobs by using 1st person view only! then talk... ^^ I know someone might be standing behind a wall and watch over it or around the corner in 3rd person, but to my knowledge they got to be visible to you if they should be able to shoot you. and you should have a fair chance of killing them as well. if you don't, then I would suggest you train your reaction times and aim using counterstrike where your life depends on map awareness and milliseconds of reaction time.

The most fun, and hardest way is to loot and gear up without killing the zombies,, just let them chase you... If you are able to get geared up and leave the coast with 3 zombies chasing you and not get hit... after several attempts mind you and a lot of practice you wont have a problem killing them ^^ I currently kill off every zombie but for one, I think its too hard when multiple zombies chase me. In the future I will increase the amount who follows me around while I loot the town and gear up.. I like this challenge. keep me moving faster ^^haha

Just look around, If I need to bandage me,, i usually use 20sec to check the surrounding area for zombies and kill them before bandaging,, or ill bandage on the roof if I don't have a weapon. If I am a new spawn, and I dont have a weapon I just dodge the zombies and loot while they chase me! its a fun challange,, finding something usefull and grabbing it while 4 zombies are less than 5meters away =P

Do you have different character between 1pp and 3pp servers? weird, I have had the same character on both for the past 2 weeks..

Depends on the weapon, but I almost never hit with the white dot on the zombie's head.. Its in fact more complicated, I usually get a hit every swing, But It took a while to learn how... Keep on trying, and try make your weapon connect with the zombie, forget that the white dot exists.

would you play dayz using touch screen if they added support for it?

What about a rifle that fires pistols instead of bullets? with physics.. You load the rifle with a magazine containing 10 random pistols you picked up, it would be nice ^^

I like the idea of combination locks is just as good. -What if you got base on a different server than you was killed on? the bandit would have no chance of using the key, and you would have to change the lock on your base. -Its way easier to share the base with friends, simply give them the code. but I guess its possible to copy the key and give it to friends. -people can still destroy the door and replace the lock if they want to steal your base in both cases. The only difference is that its not possible to share the key with friends, and if you die you would loose access to the base until you replaced the lock.. but I guess both solutions are possible to use. They could add both options if they wanted. If friends have the key, they could just make a new copy for you to have.

Someone just combat logged on us today. My buddy had trapped someone inside a barracks at zelengorsk. When I came and helped him clear the barrack like 2 min later, he was not there,, logged out,, :/

Agree! If this is added then you should turn to a zombie if hit. The eating animation should last for 15min. It should take 4 hours for you sitting my the fire to become dry. You should be exhausted after running and need to take a day to rest and get ready for another hike. You would need to change clothes every day. And you should not be able to respawn on the coast after you are dead as that is not very realistic
