Thanks for suggestion. But yes I have tried it, all sound settings were fine.

Try restarting steam and starting it with administrator.

No sound when joining server Whenever I join a server all of my in-game sound turns off. During the "retrieving character information" screen I can hear the sound briefly but then it all goes mute. The entire game is quiet and the only sounds I can hear are the main menu button sounds. I have tried joining a server with a normal OA mission and the problem appears to be DAYZ oriented. I have tried reinstalling the game and deleting the Arma 2 folder in my documents, still the same problem arises. Please help!
