Metro has a pretty interesting system.The main currency is military grade ammo, which can be both used for combat and trading.Though that wouldn't fit in DayZ because 'the everything' happened pretty recently (given by the amount of zombies, which are actually people infected with a prion disease [spongy, spongy brain], which should die pretty quickly in real life mostly due to starvation and lesions), so military grade ammo wouldn't be as hard to find as in Metro.

How's the zombie hit detection now?Before the fix i had to swing the axe 3-4 times at them before the hits were registered.

I have a vague eastern european accent on the R and in >40h of playing i only shot someone with the intention to kill them 2 times.Most of the times I see someone that is near me i simply say 'Hello' or if they are far away i just ignore them. Do i really deserve to be shot just because I didn't had the chance to get a grip on the 'correct' accent?I'm asking this because you said you shoot as soon as they start speaking and you hear their accent.If you see me unwielding my gun and greeting you in an eastern accent, will you also shoot me?

Perhaps i made a wrong choice of words, of course i don't mean what you think.Respawn as in, the server restarts to create/spawn items.This happens at a given hour.During the 'up' time the loot doesn't respawn.Servers respawn because otherwise at some point there would be no loot at all.

To respawn loot, and in previous versions, zombies.And i also think it cuts out a little of the lag.
