Doubt they'd use a clip with fraps dropouts on it either.Don't worry about getting the networks attention, just make good vids. That was pretty funny. -
Being allowed? Who told you such bullshit?

Has anyone said they want it t have that kind of damage table? NO.It'll be identical in calibre to the normal revolver, maybe read the thread.

Massive armory in Barrack

It not legit. Just think of it as searching a place very carefully, finding nothing then closing your eyes and going 'NARRGGH" opening them again and the place is full of new shit! its not like using a loophole or anything at all, god no. /sarcasm. And that last comment is idiotic, its not a case of 'it has to be like this or like that', its a case of make a better mechanic. -
I'd also like to ask why one hasn't been added yet, but i'm not going to beg for beans while asking.

HillBilly? Is where you tend to find them after all... ...could give players lumberjack shirt and rolled up jeans skin after minus shedloads humanity. Or maybe overalls?

Fully aware of this. As its the number one reason the loot spawn system is awful and needs to be redesigned. Its not a valid reason for cycling a spot til you get what you want, its a problem that should have been looked at very closely and rebuilt a few times during alpha. Saying "Ah but i'm just fixing the shitty system" doesn't make it less of an exploit of the current system. The survival element of DayZ would suggest you need to keep moving to find food, ammo etc til you find the means to produce your own. Now it would be great if we had the sand in the box to make these farms, but replacing them with cheap loot farming isn't the answer. The loot system is BROKEN at its core, its so unfortunate that DayZ is going to be an awful game due to the community going stagnant. The ideas have dyed up, we all cry about hackers etc, but what happened to improving the mod/game? DayZ as a made by one man mod is brilliant, its had some great things to deliver (sadly lost) and provided us all with giggles and tears, but without a TOTAL rebuild of loot spawns, loot distribution, gear tables, VERY importantly Zombie pathing, spawns, danger level etc the game will be an awful product for a games company to release. -
Hackers favourite killjoy tactic recently has been to teleport to vehicles and fuck them up this forum seems to suggest.

one of each locked per server i guess. Make it a sought after status symbol for top dog of the top clan on that server. In fact most top end guns should be status symbols, not common as mud.
-
i'd say thats pretty much Bandit 101, Except maybe swap 1) and 2) over. Those players camping to rack up player kills aren't Bandits, they are morons.

Its a simple reason, and ones thats been explained many times. Battleeye watches over ALL ARMA game modes and mods, including Dayz. In vanilla ARMA scripting is part of the game due to its modifiable nature. But its not used as a hackz0r uber tool in the rest of ARMA, its there so you can make new missions etc on the fly.So because of this, things branded as illegal in DayZ are not illegal in other modes. Battleeye doesn't know what bit of ARMA you are playing. so it can't hand you a ban for that AS50TWS because on other non-DayZ ARMA servers that can is legal. So it can't hand you a ban on public servers because its looking after all modes, not just DayZ. Private servers however, are dealing with JUST the DayZ code, and are totally removed from anything else ARMA related, hence why so many private hive admins can addit their own filters etc to tighten security. So when rocket and devs say 'this will be dealt with in standalone' they actually mean it. Because the battleye minding DayZ:the game will be dedicated to just DayZ. -

Loot cycling IS cheap. Justify it however you want, but exploiting a shitty mechanic is still an exploit. This game used to be about survival, not getting a good gun for the PvP as rapidly as you can. Gamers fucking suck these days. -
We do it to piss your lot off.Yep, thats intentional.

Its effectively been a proof-of-concept. The amount of useful testing has been minimal. A huge factor is standalone getting a greenlight is the proposed 'Minecraft' model of distributing and developing future builds. See, we could have been testing futures such as construction, lighting systems and generators, dogs, etc etc etc but instead we were all to busy protecting our camps and resisting changes/resets, and thats before it turned into a hackers wetdream. But as it is, we still have a very basic and flawed loot spawn system, broken zed pathing, flawed zed spawns, broken tents, clothes that send you into the sea, etc etc. So instead of a well tested alpha we have a flawed mod, that hopefully will followed by a very simple standalone that hopefully has fixed hacker issues but has a lot of content still to be coded, placed and tested. Rockets potentially going to have a lot of the simpletons raging that standalone V.1 doesn't have a lot of the content they think he 'promised' them. -

Just seems with good communication private hives will be a great way to actually Alpha and beta test things. The public 'test' as been a joke. But with the private hives and responsible owners/admins the two collectives can get a lot done. for example the community tent fixes etc, also if there is ever another major patch it at least some private hives do a total reset we may actually get some interesting and useful feedback instead of idiots raging about gear as if this mod is a game or something. -

Do any private server owners pass any data over to Rockets team? If not, seems the ALPHA has kinda failed. -

'official' and 'wiki' in the same sentence. Awesome.
