Shouldn't be in the game. A)With the loots tables that they currently have. B)They are already being 'farmed'. TBH i hope the Devs have seen this thread and pulled them.

YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. Lazy minded sheep like you has turned the game into a 'deathmatch' long with poor design choices. Its Rocket went "We have a bit more PvP than intended' date=' So I'll remove guns on spawn then add [i']sniper rifles with thermal scopes." Easy solution to all this: Step 1) Remove high grade military sniper rifles ENTIRELY along with NVGs. Step 2) Stop tweaking stuff to try and 'balance' the game for problems caused by gear etc. Its not a problem with the PvP mechanic, the problem lies in OVERPOWERED GUNS BEING COMMONPLACE AND LACK OF OTHER THINGS TO DO. Step 3) Drop the bandit meme as it was flawed and also stop focusing on the PvP element, THERE IS A LOT MORE TO THIS GAME so put your minds to developing that. We need MORE content, not removal of the little gameplay there is atm. -

Yes it is. But its implemented in a fairly basic way, as in: The buildings take a set amount of damage then change their whole model, its not a gradual system like the one DICE built.

No. They are already far to widespread (most likely to dupers) and personally, I feel that NVGs being as common as they are now is a bit to much, to the point i'm not really sure they should even be in dayz. Along with all the thermal and NV scoped guns. The crashed Helis have been counter-productive IMO. there should be less Military-grade kit, not more. It makes the mod feel less about 'survival' and more into a Mil-grade shooter with zeds. -
Mate your laughable. Your asking for a permeant safety net. In a survival mod. Your either soft, lazy or both.

Quite a shame to see all the aggro twats that shout 'ALPHA' at people all the damn time are the ones that don't get that resets in ALPHA are common. Its a test phase not a fucking game. -
So you want explosive proof nylon? Personally, I think you shouldn't even have access to your tents after you die. And people should be able to fuck your shit up. So you got upset by it, what if you smashed some someone elses camp? I bet you'd love that. Dear rocket, can we have a survival mod back please? It seems to have turned into farmville with overpowered guns.

Just wondered if the new spawn loadout has seen a rise of murder happy players stalking the beaches as they gleefully take potshots at weaponless guys? Or has the new super-zombies balanced that? Or is it a totally bad case of new spawns having to run the gauntlet of zeds and snipers? I'd just like to hear people input of what they've seen on the beaches since the changes. Do people seem more likely to band together or is it in a world of the unarmed, the one with the gun kills everyone? Please post your experiences here. -
Yeah but it doesn't really make sense apart from a safety net or when people eventually fuck up and die. In game, why would this new guy (your respawn) know exactly where some dead dude hes never met has stashed a tent full of guns etc? A new spawn should be a new spawn, i.e, your needs should be to search for gear, not prance along to a tent that your toon should really have no awareness of and restock to end game levels. Characters should have a tent on spawn, that replaces one/some of the previous lifes tent. then, the tent you start with should be used as a log in/de-log point. As one wayof countering Dcing etc.

Nothings hard to find in this game, you can just server farm for days with a decent group. That fact makes Dayz a bit of a joke tbh. Oh yeah! lets murder each other over INFINITE resources! But yeah agree with OP, Youdon't need to but stupid restrictions on bandits, you just need to bin the thermal scope sniper rifles, and then make the ammo RARE AS HELL for the sniper rifles that are left in. Make groups have to plan and equip their groups to their strengths, don't just let them flit though paraell dimensions until they all own guns that can punch out an engine block. Making a camp with HUGE stashes of gear is way to easy.

See, if you took those fucking things out, you'd solve the whole 'sniper-arsehole (aka 'bandit') problem'. "Theres a problem with camping in DayZ" some of you say, and then ask for more uber PVP sniper rifles. :rolleyes: Stop trying to have cons for 'bandits' and just bin the way overpowered guns.

From seeing that vid and stream that some poor sod has picked up a hacker thats trailing him' date=' it seems to be some kind of modded weapon that locks on all players on server and well, you know the rest. Fallout mod stylee uber-lulz dick weapon basically. I said months back that Armas code + the griefing possibilities would be a huge pull for hackers and script-dicks. [hr']

Bandits are the fecking boogeyman of DayZ, they only exist in peoples minds. There should never be a new 'bandit' indicator, but there should be more variety of skins. I'm pretty sure that every survivor didn't look like a rambler.

This is actually the fairest argument i've seen for them yet. I have to admit i did open the thread to tell you to STFU, as i think its a defunct mechanic that people should get the fuck over, but you raise a valid point. Some people worked for those skins the same way others worked for a bean mountain or a motorbike. You set your own goals with your own rewards, guess looking like a murderer was one of them. That said the whole bandit mechanic is dead, should be dead and can fuck off. So i will support you in this, in this form: Loads more skins to chose from on starting, and make the skin that we know of as 'Bandit' one of them.
