No i posted because yet another thread turns into a shit flinging contest within a handful of posts. Remember a few months back when their was a good energy about suggesting ideas and cool ways to play the game on this forum? Now its just another sea of clan QQ'ing and rage and counter-rage. Noone cares about peoples accusations that they can't back up, it floods the boards and anything interesting gets drowned out by this horseshit. See something you don't like? Have it out with OP over PMs for fucks sake. People might think "aha! i'll expose the clan i think is cheating for no good reason!" but it doesn't matter, it just makes you and your group look like whinging bitches.

I suggested an idea while back along the same lines, Give every player a tent on spawn, can only save your progress in your session by 'Save Sleeping' to log out by using your tent. But that requires fixing tents etc first. -

Thats the problem right there: ...Player Run servers. Currently theres only servers because people are paying for them, out of their own pocket. Standalone DayZ would require a lot of dedicated servers, paid for by the dev or publisher NOT by the fans. If someones selling a game for say $30 a pop, and they are expecting YOU to pay for the servers wouldn't you feel rather exploited? -

A bandage isn't going to keep my leg on if its just been blown off by a .50 cal round either. A steak doesn't give me new blood. If i hit your head with i hatchet it isn't going to break your legs. Guns and ammo don't bubble up out of the ground.etc. ETC.

May have have a place, but you've presented it badly. Also even a mobile version would be too big and heavy to be carried. Although give players generators and that to build a 'med-centre' (player driven, stop asking for ready made set-ups) and why not? you'd need a chopper or a fast car to get them there though...

This.The multi server thing is just smoke and mirrors. "Oh its cool!" But it causes more exploits and problems than useful points. Problem is the player base would riot if it was taken away. Because they are mostly cheating cunts. -
server restarts are taking the piss a bit. Seen so many Admins on here admitting to restarting their servers due to being 'hacked'.. Basically when ever they get raided they automatically go 'Hacker' and restart. Its fucking lame. Almost like they can't admit being outplayed so its just easier to use the 'HackZ0r' excuse and get your goodies back.

So is everyone else. wouldn't worry about it to be honest, Battleeye is as useful as a chocolate teapot, and theres much greater hacks going on so i think the fact you've got a nice gun shouldn't be a probem. Unless its modded to the point its a full auto .50 cal or something.
