Please don't take this the wrong way and this isn't aimed at you... But how come pretty much every group seems to all have AS50's, Ghillies and NVs these days? Is there just that amount of them around in crashed Helis and spawns? Or so many created by the tent/restart dupes that theres that many going spare now? I'm honestly nothaving a go at you, I just took a break and it seems like DayZ has changed from gay looking bush-rangers with crowbars to wookies carrying portable anti-air! :s

The loot system is yet another reason 'survival mod' turned into 'PVP Hack Fest'. its not 'look for gear, and keep moving' its kill cow and sit by favourite loot spawn'. Also you are having a fucking LAUGH if your suggesting that loot cycling isn't being done by server hoppers etc. theres so many nighttime servers dead these days i bet you just hop into a dead server and cycle your spots every 5 mins, If you don't respect to you. But you can bet any dollar there is many players doing so.

Only due to a lame as hell loot spawning system that is easily exploited.Name one other game that if you don't get the reward you wanted in a loot chest, you can just empty that chest and then open it again in 5 mins to see its full of loot again. The loot system is that retarded in DayZ. your basically saying "its fine to exploit the seriously flawed and exploitable loots spawns because the dev has said hes to lazy to fix it." Just because a systems very easy abuse doesn't make it ok to do so. And before anyone plays the 'Meta-gaming' card, stick it sideways up your arse. The loot system is all to fuck and needs vast changes if DayZ to ever be a game.

Maybe 'sleeping bag' is a better example then. I'll answer below. the tent/bag would be a separate item to storage tents, so picture a sleeping bag rather than a tent. It would be used only for save point, not storage. So none of your points linked to tents are a concern. :) As for if you die.. Err its a perma-death game. And if the game crashes will shit, but you'd lose some progress in a crash anyway.

I suppose you could look at it like that way, but i'm thinking more tent or sleeping bag in toolslot. Portable logout/save point basically. Up to you were you use it and logout, so you'd still have the choice.

This would of course be an option for when Rocket manages (if he ever can) to get this Mod out of the fucked state its in and into a stable working game. Its pretty obvious currently DayZ is almost unplayable, but hey lets just except that and stop having any ideas huh? Not to mention at the moment its also a Alpha Mod. You are meant to be testing not holding back development because you want to keep your toys. Anyone got anything to discuss about the idea, not their gear?

A lot of people seem to have mised my point here. I'm not dissing the forum members, I'm dissing the forum itself. It likes to remove spaces from posts thus turning them into a wall of text. Edited OP to make this more clear.

Its more the combination of colours for text/background plus lack of capitalisation etc. Then combined with the forums random text squeeze it makes it a pain to read.

Yes but Battleeye is a joke and the actual code of ARMA is a hackers wet dream, damn they don't even need to add script its that poorly made. Stop using this 'Oh nothings hack-proof" excuse for BIS, We know nothings watertight, but that doesn't forgive ARMA for being a very hack-able engine.

Its a new hack. They have been turning people into allsorts, Goats, Boars, Cigar Smoking commandos etc. There is even cases of the whole server being teleported into a 'Thunderdome' deathmatch arena. Dayz is fucked basically.
