I'm waiting for a resourceful hacker to make the GLITTER-ZONE. A magical place where the roads are made of beans, the skies are full of rainbows and everyone shouts 'FRIENDLY' on sidechat while fingering each others bums.

Its a ban to spawn then in, not to use. It would be fucking stupid to hand out bans to every player with hacked it gear because the kit is so rife, even the mod itself dupes gear like wildfire. Fixes to duping and a total reset first, then maybe look at bans if they are stable fixes.

DayZ doesn't have ANY 'legit' servers. ALL are player maintained, BI and Rocket don't own ANY of them. Also the hackers have nothing to do with the admins of the servers either. You don't even know what your complaining about. -
Basically Rocket been to lazy to edit out the part of ARMA that lets you place markers for teammates, and funnily enough, DayZ treats all players as if they are on the same side. Its a simple thing that should have been fixed by now, but seems dogs, beartraps and all this other shit are more important.

Great if you want to play DayZ like a shooter. Lame as it bypasses 99% of what the mod is meant to be about.

Rockets stated they are working on fixes, but they won't be giving updates. Mainly to keep the hackers in the dark about what BI & BE are trying to do. Its not going to be easy to make it solid though. -
I know this. I'm just saying all these players thinking they are destroying camps don't realise they are actually helping the dupers. "Oh you killed my tent!" *restart server* "Thanks for the extra shit buddy".

It actually has less hackers due to the limited servers etc, and it runs an older version of DayZ code so a lot of the problems simply aren't there. Rocket can't really be that upset, someones just modded his mod. He doesn't own zombies or the code, so yeah gutted, but personally Lingor plays likeDayZ used to, before it went to shit.

Its been this way for years. Look at the amount of wallhacks, aimbots etc that have been around for other games for a long time now, its been spiraling out of control for a long time, Gaming changed from fun and friendly competition into something thats about being 'L33t' and kids these days praise anyone that can teach them to exploit the system. -
make it so that single player can make an blood transfusion.

I'd have thought it would be quite hard to give yourself a transfusion in field conditions. So for that reason, No. Also its one of the only 'friendly' acts left in the mod. -

Straight forwards solution. Give all players Tent/Sleeping Bag on spawn. Change the system so session progress on each server is ONLY saved by 'save session & logout' option on Tent/S.Bag. You alt+F4 cool, but everything you've done or picked up gets wiped. Also server hoppers will have to think twice if they skip out Make it a 60-120 second animation or 'sleep/save' to encourage people to only save in a safe location. Job. Fucking. Done. -
