joined a random server.. got kicked cause server rebooted at the same time.. waiting 300 seconds now... -
And again.. game keeps crashing... new patch gg and goodbye DayZ. Got hit 4 times by a zombie and almost died, i couldnt even pull my weapon (cause guess what BUG), after i waited 500 seconds. At least i survived. I thought they were testing these patches on experimental? Took ages to get out this patch which bugs even more. I got graphics bug and so on, and yet no improvement of night time or anything. Just new features. Other alphas try to satisfy their users at least and this was a waste of money.

I just experienced a 500 seconds timer. I had a massive bug where my graphic wouldn't load proper, so i had to restart.. its a joke i gotta wait 500 seocnds for that shit.

Well of course those reports should be investigated and not blindly followed. A server gets a hidden reputation. For each report it gets this score increase and at a certain level admins are informed about their server being reported. If the reports keep coming in for some reason, some of the DayZ staff would have to check (like they do in the forums atm) if the reports are valid and if action is needed.

So I've recently noticed that quite a lot of servers kick people for no reason at all, so i suppose that they are up for loot, which is not legal (as far as I am informed). You can only kick for massive verbal abuse or something similar. Same applies for servers which have names in them like "do not join", "private server no joining", "character will be reset on joining" (this is obviously a trick to keep people out) and so on. Going to the forums to report server is so annoying and too much work for too many people. A simple button to report a server (and send all the details required, so no longer typos in reports *yay*) with a short field (100 characters) where you can describe what the problem is, would be sufficient. With that they can keep out the abusing admins and the abuse will get less as they would be afraid of getting their server reported and therefor banned. Thanks for reading, let me know what comes to your mind.

I join servers where the admin randomly kicks me for no reason, happens over and over. I know i should report them somewhere else, but this is so annoying. There should be a report server button which make sit easier. Its just a joke that people get kicked so the admin can gear up. Anyways, this keeps getting me a timer. My internet connection breaks regularly thats just how it is, it happens frequently, i lose connection and have to wait 500 seconds again. I have been server hopping as well and still do it sometimes. The 500 timer doesnt stop any person that rly wants to do it. You just live with it and wait the time. Server hoppers are delayed but not stopped. I think the logout timer to stop combat logging is sooo nice. I really love it. For a permanent solution i would suggest to not have server start at round times and not display players on the server when less than 10 people. Might be stupid, but when I was hopping i searched for low-population servers that recently restarted, having them restart at 8:39 rather then 08:00 will make a segnificant impact, because you cannot tell if a server is already up long. Same applies to low-populated server, you are just not able to tell anymore if the server is freshly restarted, therefor hopping for loot wouldn't work good.

Hm im still not sure what to think about the changes. On one site i really enjoyed it as it was so hard to finally get them off once you fired a gun and they are coming for you, also i got scared off zombies for the first time in this game (running at fullspeed at you) and i start worrying when hearing zombie sounds. Also another thing that i really like is that snipers / campers that hide somewhere to kill you won't have an easy life. They need to be careful after revealing their location as the zombies might make a run for them. So if you live after a few shots, they need to focus on surviving themselves and therefor camping does not become the supreme tactic. On the other side, i cannot even eat something anymore and start bleeding quite fast, when badging myself i am unable to interrupt and get hit again because they are so fast. You can just stay there shoot and hope you don't bleed out and they stop spawning before that so you can finally badge yourself. Same goes for eating and all that stuff. Also i think the "seeking" range is quite too much as of right now. People should be able when moving silently ( not running) and hiding to avoid zombies, as of right now it is just a disaster, they see you anyways. I really like the aspect that its scaring, but there should be some changes such as vision range for zombies and probably an ability to cancel your action faster (like dropping that beacon even tho it tastes delicious), so like in real life, if you're in a real hurry just drop it and run. I think drop & run would save us a lot and would give us back some possibilities fighting fast zombies while still acting carefully. -

If you would actually read through the reddit post you would actually see what the problem is / was, some information cannot be shared as it might be gamebreaking (maybe the bug already exists) and so on and so on. We get a ETA around 2-5h before the patch. If they find a fix they will post it in the release notes, anything else wouldnt matter anyways -
Hello Okeebc, Your character will not reset when a server is restarted. All the characters are stored in the "hive", which is why you can have the same character on ALL servers. So basically you can join other servers (bc yours is down atm) and keep playing. Above explains 2nd question as well.

Well basically there are a lot of servers that insta-kick you (and even have it mentioned in their title) when you join and you are not member, as far as I am aware, they are not allowed to do that?! I think its just a joke, and we should get rid of these servers...

Amphibia is made for hunting, i do not expect it to be a weapon for fight scenarios. Also you might have lagged / missed, also it could be a bug as you play on experimental, don't forget this is a alpha's alpha. -
