No animal is smarted than a mentally healthy human being. OT: instead of arming zombies with weapons, how about putting in some human AI military patrols spread over the map. I liked the AI heli's in the mod.

Well from the name I can't conclude that GB 1-269 has persistence enabled. In it's server title it says "... GB 1-269 Persistence" What I'm missing in this title is the word "enabled" or "disabled" becauise others severs have "Persistence enabled" or "Persistence disabled". My stashed gear disappeared on this server (thrust me, it was well hidden. On other servers that showed up as "Persistence enabled" in their title, I found that it seems to be severely flawed. My stashes were all well hidden, nevertheless within a timespan of 12 hrs they were gone. I'm really doubting the Persistence feature. Somewere I read that the Persistence file on the server can get corrupted, causing the server to crash and clean up the stashed items. So if anyone has other experiences (i.e. it working as it should) I would like to hear from them.

Not every time, but I frequently get the "dayz has stopped working" message, when in the server lobby. Has been so since December. Uninstal/reinstall doesn't fix it. Not only a buggy game ( yes I know: Alpha) but also a buggy server lobby (for which there is no excuse IMO)

My slightly offtopic rant on this subject: So, I was born in 1980. Compared to older people I sometimes felt like a spoiled brat when growing up. Hearing their stories of walking 20 miles to school each day in rain, snow and sun. We all know the stories. But that's absolutely nothing compared to -here it comes, the age old adage- the youth of nowadays. Panic attacks when they can't use their smartphones. More friends on facebook than actual people they know in real life. Everything has to be instant... instant gratification, instant access, instant everything. The 'rubber tile' generation who have to use helmets and orange flags while riding bicycles because otherwise their parents deem it 'unsafe'. Seem to suffer from a wide array of disorders like ADHD, ODD, CD, OCD, DCD etc. Can't write, count or spell anymore.

I agree. I find the subject of 'rage quitting' a fairly decadent phenomenon.

In 165 hrs of gameplay I died 5 times. None of them due to a hacker. Maybe I´m just lucky, but I haven´t encountered a single hacker.
