You are facing what the average 1.5 million people who buyed the game end up doing in this gaming situation. Me and friends are doing some KoS but not all the time. We mostly KoS full geared peeps and even more if they are a squad. I've been ***-fuc*** to much time by peeps i was helping to loose my time helping peeps i dont know. With new spawn, we just play a little bit and then release them with some food.

Lost full gear lots of times. Killed full geared lots MORE times. End of story. :D

+1 At 1080p and with good IQ settings the game is quite hard on the GPU/CPU.

I would really like to be able to host private server myself. Even if its to run 10-20 slot if my home internet do not support more. I have an home server with a clocked i5 3570k, 16gb ram, SSDs and more. Well enough to run 10-20 players of private DayZ !

I also seen alot more fresh spawn on the est coast since last patch. I very rarely see fresh guy near cherno and electro and even myself i didnt respawned there on the 2 or 3 last time i died.

IMO : Most comon lag issue. yesterday i had to fire 7 SKS round on a guy for him to lay down on the ground and i was'nt far. All shot touched him for sure. IMO this is lag caused.

There are PVE server ? Waste of time :D

I'd say down to your prefered type of play. I really like to snipe and/or at least have something like the new sks with a ~4x scope on it. With the long range and a mosin, you can pretty much only snipe but the SKS can handle some close combat since it can fire at a decent fire rate and have 10 rounds in it. I usually carry an axe for Z. Then an SKS, a FNX, a Magnum and a sawed 12. I know, thats alot of firepower but i often play alone so alot of guns is my way to go. I dont run trough city, i only do so when i'm with friends that have M4 so i can snipe and they close combat. I'm pretty much alwais on the highest hill/building around and as soon as i see someone, if he dont see me, i hide and let it/them pass or kill if i feel it. This morning i took 2 armed guy down without taking any shot. They never found me. Get geared, look CAREFULLY around you, take your time. Thats the best way to servive IMO. And even more if you're alone.

it was not me but yeah, it takes patience to wait on these spot. I usually do this when i do something else while playing. If i see movement on my screen i quit my other taks and snipe the passing by player ;) I got killed that way ... i to kill that way !

A GTX770 and a 4670k will do it right.

I've done this quite a few times, sitting on the hill next to the ship and waiting for someone to kill. From the hill next to the ship you have a really good view of one side of the ship including top deck and depanding of where you snipe from, you could also see part of the swomp next to it an see newcomers before they enter the ship.

While playing with 2 or 3 friends i see about 10-20kb/s up and 20-40kb/s down on my RT-N66U live metering.

And hey ! You have a big splash screen telling you that the game can have issue dans bugs each and every single time you launch it. I have more than 140hrs of gameplay and no more than 5 to 10 real big bugs that felt on me. All other qwirks are just "normal" since the game is alpha, not even BETA .....
