Kichilron claimed it was fixed.

The exhaustion bug has not been fixed in 1.8.2. Other players are reporting the same problem. *blows out brains IRL*

Somone already got 0.49 version ?

That mouse "smoothing" feeling when you aim in with scopes. It's terrible. Please remove it.

I created this thread solely to troll you Bororm. I believe it may be the dexterity mixed with high scope zoom on a large rifle that is simulating negative mouse acceleration.

Really dude? I mean really..?

Taking up the backpack slot wouldn't work, it's way too limited.

I just made the transition to Dayz SA while waiting for the 1.8.2, since I just can't play 1.8.1 until the bugs are fixed. To be honest it's getting pretty good, and it's a nice change. I might give 1.8.2 a go but the mod is getting a bit stale. The only things that are really pissing me off in the SA so far is the terrible performance (getting 26 fps in cities on very high, and very low with a mid-high end PC), and the sluggish movement. Oh and of course the zombies are still terrible. The last time I played the SA was a few months ago when it was downright terrible, but the 2 recent patches were pretty good. I think it's going to be awesome when it's out of alpha..

I've been collecting the map pieces, and I cannot help but think constantly that 8 pieces of the map are just way too much. I believe the map should only consist of 4 parts North, South, East, and West, and here's why. -8 piece of the map simply takes up way too much inventory space. 4 map pieces would be much more balanced. -8 pieces of the map just make things more complicated then they should be, regarding navigation. -4 pieces of the map would make finding the map more enjoyable, and less tedious. After around the 4th or 5th part I simply just give up, since all I find after that are the parts I already have. -Some of the corner map pieces, NE, SW, etc, just show far too little anyways. *Edited out the marker concept with map alone, except it would be cool only if you had a GPS. This would give more incentive to find and use GPS with map. If you agree, cool, if not, please post an explanation why 8 map pieces are better than 4. I would really like a mod or dev to take this into consideration.

Do you think the LRS will be removed from Mosin when...

I like this idea. The screw driver seems rather pointless at the moment. -
The Community's List of Suggested Weapons for Dayz Standalone (Version: 1.29)

Yeah they're both nice.. I'm just a bigger fan of the longer barrel, although the compact-ness of the g36c sort of changes my mind. -
I like all of your suggestions. Like other people said here, when they increase performance you will probably see everything you mentioned. Definitely blood trails, those are in the mod now so there is no reason they won't include it. Bodies should be top priority for the future. Hopefully with flies too. Dogs, would be cool, although probably not that technical. I'd imagine they would go as far as to interact (right click maybe) with a track option that would allow the dog to sniff and bring up a message.

G36A > G36C every single day of the week. -
At last. Someone who concurs. I mean, unless the long range scope weighs 20 pounds alone, it should not be affecting the dexterity.

To me the bullet speed feels broken, especially at close ranges like 50- 100m. Feels like it takes FOREVER to impact, and I end up leading my target by retarded amounts..at ranges like 300+ it feels normal..strange.
-
True, although you can with a GPS.
-
Oh yeah, did not know that. Well I guess that's cool, and just makes the other 4 pieces of the map seem even more pointless.. I believe they removed regular map marking from dayz mod too without a GPS, however it still shows range in-game. That'd be nice if they implemented the map marking but only shows the range on the GPS, although I doubt this will happen if the reason map marking isn't there at the moment is because of the "rangefinder effect" it gives snipers without needing or actually using a rangefinder.

What new Rifles would you guys like to see?

Lol goodluck. -
Lol, the video is clearly showing negative mouse acceleration. If you would like proof, turn your in game smoothing to 100% and move your mouse. You will feel the difference. And no, the gun does not "lag" because it is bigger. If you bothered to read my post instead of assuming things that do not exist, I clearly stated that it was ONLY when I zoomed in with the long range scope. Switched the scope to the PSU and it was 1:1 (no negative acceleration).

First off, it is a game and not real life. Second, Arma 2 and dayz mod are more realistic than the SA, and while you cannot sprint up hills (obviously) you can ATLEAST move a decent pace up them at a reasonable angle, just like you would be able to in real life (if you want to bring in the IRL argument). In the SA, you cannot even exercise momentum even at a relatively realistic angle. Your character will walk as slow as possible until you're practically moving at a 90 degree angle on the hill, which results in just walking on the side of it then results in the speed change, which is counter productive. Also the way your character moves up the hill he's basically defying gravity, so it looks like an unfinished mechanic. I wouldn't mind if the current walk speed did not change while climbing straight up a hill but the devs should atleast tweak the angle a bit so you can atleast cover some ground while getting over the hill, rather than having to run around it. You're way too vulnerable climbing directly up the hill. This is also why your character gets stuck on the smallest shit like small hills in woods and just ridiculously small inclines because there's no split in character movement. And stairs, don't even get me started on stairs..............speed needs to be increased while moving up stairs slightly..
