I find myself rarely every using the regular run (just holding w) as it's a bit slow. Sprinting is fast enough when needed but the regular run speed is just too slow imo. It would be nice if it was increased to where it's actually usable.

Lol, I'm not suggesting it to be in alignment with marathon runners, or soldiers, or Arma 2 for that matter. I'm simply suggesting it be slightly increased while holding a weapon because it is abnormally slow and not authentic even for a civilian in its current state. I wouldn't say authenticity is part of this argument for alpha's sake, since being able to sprint for an unlimited amount of time with a backpack and weapon is not authentic at all. It's near impossible to find a video example of what I'm talking about, since you find people sprinting 24/7 otherwise you're too slow and vulnerable. 11:00-11:10 is the regular jog. You can see he starts sprinting immediately afterwards. -

Um, no. I'm not asking to sprint all the time. That's not what I was saying at all actually. I'll call it "jogging" instead then. "Jogging" speed should be slightly increased. Not near as fast as sprint obviously, but not the same speed as crouch turbo. Nah means? Let me also add, the increase should be while holding a weapon. Just look at Arma 2's jogging. I would say that's a bit too fast for the standalone based on scale, so maybe a little slower than arma 2's jog speed, but faster than the current. Watch first 20 seconds. Maybe a little slower than that. The current speed in the SA while holding a gun is of an out of shape individual with spine problems and slight retardation, which is why everyone finds themselves unlimited sprinting most of the time. -
So hard to find mosin/attachments, or is it me?

Mosin, attachments, and ammo can all be found at most of the civilian residential spawns. Sometimes they are hard to find as with all the residential weapons..it's really hit or miss. For instance I just found a shotgun under one of those little blue cart things with wheels on the side of houses that spawns industrial stuff. Before that I scavenged all of elektro and found nothing. Although I've been playing .50 experimental, I've had better luck in 0.49. Weapons are generally rare. -

Loot spawn system is terrible and I wish they implement the system the mod used. Why bother wasting an hour of my time scavenging through the whole entire city of cherno when I find nothing but jack sh** or even nothing at all because 1 or 2 guys looted the entire city 5 minutes ahead of me? I'm about sick of this alpha..

Current loot system does not work with 50-60 players. Logged into cherno as a fresh spawn and ended up dying from starvation in a server with 60 players and hopping into one with 50. There was no loot anywhere, not even in one of the biggest cities in chernarus. All it takes is 2 people to loot the entire city and there's no loot respawns until server restart? Not to mention, the server restarted before I died and the same exact loot was there, not even a loot refresh. What the hell? -
My gtx 670 got 100% usage, and my gtx 970 gets 100%. Not sure what the problem is on your end but I have no issues with gpu usage. Arma 3 on the other hand....

Balota is no closer to kamenka than it is to cherno, and there is a cherno spawn point.

Lol, it was one of my favorite spawn points in the mod because of the venture from kamenka through zeleno. There was nothing of significant value through that whole entire west section besides nwaf, so I'm struggling to find the irony here. I guess since they added that one "military spawn" in between kamenka and zeleno completely killed the idea of ever having a spawn down there.

Yeah the "amount" of loot seems a bit over the top..however devs just don't make it as shitty as .49 please when you DO rebalance it. -

Getting restarts every 10 min on experimental and it's becoming unplayable. If it's happening on stable too I'm probably not going to play until .50 is fixed, since the loot on .49 is terrible. -

The map looks nice and I'm liking the loot. Also enjoying that loot is spawning in tool sheds/industrial sheds now and in those common brown log buildings where nothing was spawning in before. I also support the addition of heat packs. That's all I've noticed so far. -
Arma 3 is absolute garbage. With my specs in signature I get terrible fps in multiplayer.. talking 40's-60 with like 20% cpu usage and 40% gpu usage. Absolute rubbish. I should be getting fps in the 70's constant ATLEAST with the 970. The problem with arma 3 is it isn't even optimized to utilize even a quarter of your systems potential.

I can only imagine the 755m being a crap card. 'X50' models are usually terrible.

Not sure I agree with starting with a map but, the in game map is pretty terrible and needs a rework. I don't really use it since I know the map easy from the mod but still to be blunt.. It sucks ass. I take that back after seeing experimental version 0.50's map, looks wonderful now sort of like the mod. Feels useful again knowing where there are forests.
