I've been playing on 103718, will try on 112555.

I mean one piece of cooked meat heals over 5k blood almost instantly. I think it's a bit much.

I think I have "quit" epoch over 4 times now. Epoch is awesome, but I always get to the point where I obtain a safe, a shit load of briefcases and 50 cals and just destroy my whole arsenal, quit, and go back to vanilla. I feel like epoch is extremely repetitive and desensitizing probably due to the currency system. I always feel the urge to get as much gold as possible. It's too easy because of the loot and vehicles. People say there's no challenge in vanilla, but imo that's where THE challenge is. It's way harder in vanilla to gear up and survive long amounts of time, try and get a vehicle, and an arsenal of weapons. Not to mention now zombies are more of a challenge and deadly in 1.8.1 (although a bit broken) and also I spend less time, but more enjoyable time on vanilla. Currently awaiting 1.8.2 patch and it will be great. Vanilla gets boring too eventually, but always becomes fun again at some point. One thing I do love about epoch though are the m107's.. and that SCAR-H.. :)

Yes the hitscan issue is definitely a problem and usually you'll get hit running by zombies no where near them. I notice this most when I run by them on the side. However that is avoidable once you start seeing how it works. Zombie attack range IS a problem. This is why you keep getting hit and can't reach the zombies in a situation that they're running straight for you, because their attack range is way too far. In an optimal situation if you're getting chased, if you turn around and try and melee one they WILL hit you. These seem like two different problems. Meleeing down zombies out doors was easy in 1.8.0.3, once they tweak their range it will be easier in 1.8.2 hopefully. However I agree that zombies hitting you randomly is a bigger problem.

That's not what I meant. I meant it's ONLY PVP and no survival based on how easy the zombies are in breaking point, or walking zombies in general. Nothing to do with increasing or decreasing the amount of pvp, just that that's ALL there is. I'm not arguing for or against PVP. When zombies are a challenge it gives more incentive to loot more cautiously and strategically, as well as to not aggro a lot of them.

No this is a terrible idea. This is implemented in Arma 3's breaking point, and how TERRIBLE that is. When they're only walking, zeds become child's play with no real challenge, and becomes a 100% easy pvp fest. I didn't even need a weapon in A3 breaking point, you could just sprint 24/7 around everything and loot everything with hardly any danger. Got boring quick. It works for the walking dead, but definitely not for dayz. The way zeds are now are perfect, minus the hit range and broken sneak system. Once these are fixed it will be perfect.

Food isn't that big of an issue. 4-5 cans of food and i'm no longer hungry for quite some time.

It's being worked on for the 1.8.2 patch. Personally I stopped playing until 1.8.2 is released. It's kind of a waste of time until this exhaustion and zombie attack range is fixed. Do you guys have an estimated release date for these fixes?

This is true. Playing 103718 now and still there.

From steam the patch I'm running is 124802. Any how, I'm unable to join US3480 because of the steam patch I think. Will not be able to join until the server is running 112555.

There's no fix for the exhaustion bug in the changelog.

Just fix the exhaustion bug and I'll be happy. Didn't see a fix for it in the 1.8.2 change log.

What about exhaustion? You can't move even 5 steps without being fully exhausted, it's game breaking. MORPHINE DOES NOT FIX THE ISSUE.

I'm getting this too. It's pretty annoying and unplayable. Run 10 steps and i'm 100% exhausted.

I'm having an issue with constant exhaustion. I run 10 steps and boom, breathing heavily and gun sway is max 100%. It's a bit unplayable, not sure how to fix it.

Hey US3480, I was banned for the same reason as Kono. BP addmagazinecargo. I installed 1.8.1 and played on another server for a bit, then reinstalled 1.8.0.3, and joined US3480. Forgot my character had stuff from 1.8.1 and was banned Admin Ban (BP addmagazinecargo - 1 Borges) . An unban would be cool, thanks.

Another suggestion..please bring back zombies being attracted to flares like in 1.8.0.3..I liked how they were actually useful.
