I won't play on regular. if I do play regular I'm fully aware I have the same advantage as the peekers. and won't pout like a child about it. you all sound like a bunch of fucking vegans going into a steak house, knowing it's a steak house... and then bitching that they have steak! -

"friendly" servers attract pvpers looking for easy kills.. "pvp/bandit" servers are fairly tame because they assume every one else is out to get them and they don't want to be kos'd -

I think there should be an option, like someone mentioned earlier... server admins having a "no mic.. no play" box to check.

there's a whole lot of "might, most likely, possibly and woulda-coulda" in your argument. having a mic doesn't guarantee you use it. what having a mic 'might' do is promote interaction between players but if you're interacting with someone you're not kos'ing if you shoot them. you're being a bandit or RPing as a crazy mass murderer, backstabber, practicing self preservation or just plain being a dick, whatever the reason.. I always thought kos was death out of the blue, shooting in a split second without sizing up the situation, see player shoot immediately kind of thing.. but then I could be wrong there.

forcing people to own and have a mic plugged into your PC will have zero affect on kos... trying to say otherwise means you have put no thought into your argument and are just desperately grasping at straws edit: it might increase it actually.. save everyone from having to listen to squeakers in range and send them back to the beach

at first I was all for some kind of persistant storage. wouldn't it kind of ruin the suspense and tension of playing and surviving if all you had to do was run back to your loot locker and restock with zero risk? "but someone could find your stuff.. that's a risk." oh noes! you'll have to put some effort into playing! if people wanted eazy mode then why the hell did they download DayZ in the first place?

black radar cap, riders jacket, black jeans/cargos, black boots, chest holster and sawed off for screwing around. or green hoodie, green or beige pants and baseball cap, pistol and survival gear for serious surviving play lol

for me part of the fun is going on populated servers and still finding everything I need and more.. in a short time. the "I don't have time to gear up" is just a translation for lazy and unimaginative

to be honest.. in an apocalyptic setting I'd wear what I had.. but if I found camo I'd wear camo. but in dayz I make it a point not to wear military stuff but civi things in green/browns -

standing on a 2nd story floor has broken my legs and killed me many times on experimental. lucky I carry a bunch of sticks and rags for fireplace kits. sucks when you have to use three splints just to reach the stairs lol
