Thanks for clarifying. Now that you mention I hooked up with some dudes on TeamSpeak who had a locked public who duped like crazy and had about 20 tents full of gear and as50`s. I didn't do it but must admit I used there gear from time to time when I died and wanted to get revenge fast.

Is that true though? Why can't I load up my tent on a private server, then grab gear. Log out, then log onto a private one? Or will I be able to have 20 different characters on separate servers? Kind of defeats the purpose if 1 life and done too doesn't it?

I think that's the op's problem with zombies right now. You can't lose them by zigzagging, running through trees or running a circle around a building like you could in the mod. Just a straight fast run seems to work best now to escape them. I also agree that if you're finding nothing something's nit right. First, get away from Cherno and Electro. If your just learning still head north east. There are at least 3 new towns there and Novo has no zombies right now at all so for just learning and gearing up to figure out the crafting and weapons systems head that way. Good luck!

Yes I do find for now that the mouse click is pretty responsive for 1 or 3 round bursts or full auto.

I'm not talking about white lights, ghosts or deceased family members. Right now we get shot and we see "You Are Dead." No explanation, no kill cam no falling over. Once they get to introducing it to the game what would you prefer to be the death message or reaction. Do we want a kill cam so we can see exactly where we got killed from. (It might stop some campers as we now would know their spot but what other problems could it introduce?) Do we want to see our body rag doll with blood spraying into the air from the various wounds we received. Do we want to die and then have to option to stay in body to see if we get looted or not and by who? How about a kill message. "You were shot in the head 1 time and the arm 1 time resulting in your death by bleeding out." Do we want to know who killed us and maybe from what distance? If we die from an infection or cold how would you like it to look? Zombie's eat your brain? Do we want to watch every painful bite until we're infected and resurrected as the un-dead? (I see a good mod in this!) Suicide by bullet if they ever introduce it? What would that look like? Any preferences or comments or other ideas from the community?

I just remembered another one. The ship at Rify. I was in the stern. Have you ever found the hold that has a big piece of floor that has fallen in? Well I broke a leg in that dark basement hold. Turns out there is no way up the stairs or the slanted floor that's fallen in when you're crawling. Trust me, I tried. I rolled,I crawled, I wiggled, I yelled and typed for help or even a quick death. I eventually got naked and died a slow, starving death while I went and made and ate dinner IRL.

This. We are testers. They want us to test. There are some pretty cool changes to buildings,streets and even trash lying around but we need to test and report them if there are bugs. That's most likely why there's no zombies in Novo right now too. So we go there. Meet me there, I've just found a sweet overwatch spot. ;)

Standing on the roof of a fire hall. Switched to my Mosin causing my toon to start randomly running. The fall didn't kill me...the zombies did.

Oh my topics back! Liking the ideas. I do think a death screen with deaths, kills, zombie kills and how you died is good. But I still would personally like to see a rag doll death too.

Great gear but you need to open up that can if spaghetti and eat all immediately! The first time someone or a zombie hits you you're going to die, get badly injured or won't heal and then die. Eat, drink everything always.

Who the hell doesn't carry rags though? They stack, you can find them anywhere and you actually spawn with one on that you can wear and it takes up no space. Oh and what everyone else said. Lack of knowledge or experimenting on how to play is not a reason to call out, (in all caps at that!) the whole dev team!

Did you not read the original post? They acknowledge that hit box is broken so they are changing it.

Yay, keep it up! Loving the idea if weekly updates too. It will, (Hopefully.) keep some if the COD kids happy or make them leave if they don't agree with the vision. Horticulture will be interesting. I've died and re-looted about 5 times, (Don't shoot on sight, if I just say hello!) since the last stable update and I've seen no .357’s anywhere from Electro to Novo and I'm pretty thorough at checking most places. So they must be more rare. I do like them though just for the ease of loading and also giving them away if I'm feeling generous.

I do think you are weaker with a broken arm still from my experience. I have hit by a zombie, ran away, bandaged the got hit again and instant you are dead. Anyone else know if broken arm equals less hits?
