It's been said but we are testers. Apparently we are not fully trained as so many people who bought this alpha game don't get it. I've said this before but I'll say it again, if they remove the stuff that is broken then they have no feedback or experience on when it occurs to be able to fix it. Does that make sense Good Greef? It is not a game, it is a test model. Test it with us, report the bugs on the bug tracker and then it may help fix it faster. BTW, my toon currently has a machete and I have taken on about 5 zombies with 1 or 2 hits to dead so your doing something wrong.

Summer in what hemisphere though? It's not summer in Dean's home country New Zealand yet.

Or use the search function. There are heaps of other solutions to this on the forums.

It just sounds like you want to make it easier. Spread out your gear, split rags and ammo into different places, make sure you have a sewing kit to patch any damaged clothes and this game is too easy already.

When this happened a few builds ago it only happened to people with lower settings. High end rigs with medium or higher settings weren't affected. I hope it's not gone back to that!

It could have been chasing a deer or other player and then diverted to you. It's all pretty random right now.

I always put my melee weapon in slot 2....always! Until that one time I found a grenade....oh crap, boom! I hope it got the zombie too.

And yet you're running around with one of the best guns fully kitted with enough ammo to kill 5 full servers worth of people. Maybe you're doing it wrong?

I do both and prefer sci fi. Your rgoal should be a full library of Isaac Assimiv or Arthur C. Clarke. Love it. ;)

Troll the forums but I agree with Xbow. I can run around looting for hours without seeing or seeking out another person. Sure you can gear up quick but I aim for pristine everything. I know I'll lose it but getting it is half the fun and can help me survive better and longer than you when we battle.

What do you mean? From reading many of the dev blogs, twitter accounts and forum posts it takes at least that long. Look it's taken nearly a year to get to version .48 and point .49. Why would you think any different?

But the game isn't optimized yet. That doesn't happen until Beta usually from what I have heard. (Like a year from now maybe?) Until it's optimized lag will happen badly and even when it is optimized there is not game that doesn't have a lag spike from time to time. It's terrible right now but it's not meant to be good...yet.

That right there is one of the silliest things I've heard in the forums. I have said it before, WE ARE TESTERS! If they remove the main push of this game then how would they fix it? The devs had a choice to release the game so we, the fans can test it. If they test it themslves they get way less data and it don't be released for another year or 2. It's not a finished game tight now, it's a test platform. If you want a working game gta 5 is coming to pc soon and it's going to be amazing.....but your not going to buy it for 30 bucks.

Yep this. Most of my servers from New Zealand are in Australia so my pings are up around 115. Filter for say 200 or even 500.

I just like to eat some ruined fruit, crack a light and dance. Eat, sleep, rave, repeat! Na but I think you answered your own question. If you see one glowing you think it's a trap and you stay away to allow whoever threw it to loot without the worry. Also in the Novo tower I do sometimes drop one in a room I already searched. I waste time sometimes when I get to the top of the stairs I check both room on the right, then the left then forget what rooms I checked! They look a bit the same when you're standing in the stairwell. (Or maybe it's just short term memory loss from the ruined banana?)

Well I learned 2 things from that. You can open cans by dragging them to something that's on the ground and Shrub looks exactly like I pictured him. Thanks for the video! ...do you think we will all spawn on the coast, the east coast, all new spawn points or right where we last were but just without our gear? Anyone know or have a guess on how that would work? I would assume we would lose our position and all re-spawn but then imagine the chaos of Bambi killings on the coast! Especially with the person who gears up fastest. Or should I be running to wherever I want to spawn from fresh now? *cough* NWAF *cough*

Now that the title got your attention and you popped in here to flame me saying such things as, "It's a Zombie survival game!", "Go back to COD." and "what are you 12?", this is in no way a suggestion to get rid of them. I think they add a great element to the game and once it's all working properly we're going to lose half the COD fan boys and girls because we are going to need to be more stealthy and not shoot first ask questions later. (I can't wait for that day!) I am just wondering if you would play on a server that had no zombies once it was Beta or full release? Just good old PVP without worrying about being chased by hoards of Zombies. Would there be enough challenge? I could see it just leading to 60 people all sitting in a window waiting for someone to run by so they can pop them off with their sniper rifle. Boooorriiinnngggggg! Just wondering what everyone else thinks if this ever becomes and option. Would you play there?

Yes use any melee weapon and it seems to not attract so many. I've been having good success with both axes and believe it or not the hoe is pretty accurate. (There's a joke in there somewhere?)
