I haven't seen much talk by the developers about Walkie-talkies so far. If you've played with one yet it has different channels. Eventually if your whole team had one you could all be on the same channel in game. It would only work if you can see who's on your channel though as you don't want enemies hearing your plan. It could be effective in game one say though. On topic though TeamSpeak because I do like the push to talk option. Too many times on open mic my wife has said something that had my mates laughing at me for weeks afterwards. -
Whist the hell empty servers are you guys playing on where you don't see anyone? Even on 10 player servers I'm heading to high population areas! I don't KOS but it's way more exciting to gear up with a little adrenaline going. ;)

New zombies mess me up, how do you win?

Fire axe, that's it. I take on 5 at a time maximum and it seems to hit with both sides of the axe blade. On the up and down swing I seem to get hits and it may have been lag but I swear I got a double zombie kill with one swing today. Also if I have a zombie on me I rarely tske them on inside. Walls get in the way, the floor gets in the way. Run outside to do battle. -

Sometimes I'll be shot before I even get a chance to pull the trigger but most of the time it's okay. Maybe a bit of delay when the local cell tower is overloaded at peaks time or holiday long weekends but not bad still.

I only have a 3G internet stick or I plug in my phone for that extra special experience! I get about 200 ping on average and find it still quite playable. If I get a lag spike though to 500 I'm done for the night before I die.

I see a problem with this. In the mod I played with about 8 or 10 guys. What's to stop us all from getting into a nice big circle and passing a can of beans around or shooting each other in the foot and then bandaging each other. Bam, super clan who's got higher blood limits and is invisible to zombies. I can't see it being possible to implement at all. -
Yes and with Walkie Talkies you can choose different stations so if you wanted to tune into wkrp douche bag radio you can or can't. Or they could have different genre stations. I like.

If we want realism but not a bubble with a name on it maybe a name tag? Okay still not very real in a Zombie World but you could only read it face to face and up close. That way you can make allies still but also the bandits could stay secret if they wanted as they always kill you at a distance and in the back anyway.
