Most people in truth would commit suicide just for not being able to check their Facebook. Has anyone here experienced any hardship or war, I have, although nowhere near dayz scenario, trust me on this, food is most important factor, not ammo and weapons. And even though it was war, my father didn't get killed for a can of beans, even though we had them and others with guns didn't.

The reason they shot you is because there is so much weapons and bullets spawning, there was no fear of attracting zombies. If you want to survive long enough to acquire some weapons and enough water and food, I suggest, as soon as you spawn, just run inland, trust me you will survive long enough to find some food and water. DO NOT look for items on coast

What you wrote here is exactly what the devs had in mind when making this game, unfortunately this game is becoming just another pvp shooter. Hopefully changes once it's finished. Honestly I have no idea how I would go in real life, as I have two little kids.

Sounds are some way off atm, zombie growls without a zombie anywhere near, gates closing/opening sound goes of for no reason. Guns reload sound occurs for no reason.

The only way to stop people from cheating is to reduce the need for cheating. And I'm sorry to say (or am I????) that the only way is remove pvp. I think there are actually heaps more cheaters than we know, mostly everyone has experienced "only one other player on server and he just happened to be at the same spot as me", we are calling it a glitch but I think it's more than that. Banning players will never work, devs just need to invest in better anticheat.

I have learnt not to carry any rifles unless small like m4. As soon as u have a visible weapon you are a target for everyone. Plus i dont like to sit on a hill or tall building, waiting for other players to kill. I like to explore, one magnum with heaps of bullets, fire axe, water container or bottle and rest is food and first aid kit ( mainly bandages). I like to explore and when i get killed its not as bad as i dont loose much. And as soon as they implement hunting, im moving inland, wont see me much in towns.

Add coward to that list, seems to be many in this game. Coward- player that sits in one spot waiting for hours for another player to come along so they can kill them for no reason.

Chernogorsk, zelenogorsk plus others are all russian towns, some belong to belarus, but most are set in russia. Also there is no sea in chernaurus but a river. Your links are based on the game, im talking real life Also to add towns arent positioned correctly either they seem to be randomly picked and positioned along a coastline which doesnt exist in real life. So yes its set in russia but the map is fictional

Nobody bothered to google towns in the game. All russian therefore this game is set in russia. And why does that bother so many people? If you want american post apocalypse go play infestation plus other 99.9999 % games

You are misunderstanding me crazyandlazy. I dont have problem against pvp, i just have a problem with players like you, who hide and wait like cowards. Wheres the fun in that, why dont you go and play pvp games like cod, battlefield and others. Dayz sucks at pvp, aim is not accurate, melee is terrible etc. Just because i dont meet alot of players, it doesnt mean im a newbie, it just means i dont like to go into a building and wait, i like to explore, i have seen stunning valleys and hills, that you didnt even know exist in this game. Am i a newbie, according to my hours spent playing, yes i am, i have a life outside of this game that doesnt allow me to play as much as i would like to.

That style of play is cowardly, of course cowards are also people and they have every right to play like cowards. This is his gameplay: Spawns into a low pop server. Then this game can be called a zombie survival game. If devs complain about size issues, take out half unnecessary clothing and guns, I don't care, reduce this KOS bullshit

It would take the devs an hour max to add extra zombies, they have prefabs it's as simple as drag and drop. Surely they have an hour up their sleeve.

I understand your frustration, yes you are right 99% of players shoot first, and unfortunately most of them do it for fun. Just like you did, from your writing you even attacked him from behind. I wouldnt call them bandits but rather confused. It seems like they watched too many frankie youtube videos and simply wanted to try out handcuff feature. Good on you for not shooting on sight, and glad you didnt get killed. Perhaps you should have used voice first before exposing yourself

I hope they fix melee system, as its stuffed completely in pvp. I have a punch on with a guy, i have an axe, hit him, he bleeds. He punches me with bare fists, once, im unconciouss.
