Dayz players evolving together with the game
ld-airgrafix replied to ld-airgrafix's topic in General Discussion
Have you ever been out and seen a fight, well there is always one guy who will run up, kick a person while he is down then run away, that's them, that's bambi killers, that's campers. -
What I predict DayZ will achieve by the end of the year.
ld-airgrafix replied to TheWizard14's topic in General Discussion
Why is everyone calling them zombies, they are infected humans. So fix infected humans, reduce their speed a little, add shitload more. Reduce loot by half, and I'm happy -
I like your idea, and it would be awesome, but it would require a whole new set of animations, coliders, scripts, all this would mean cluttering the engine and servers, so no thanks.

Dayz players evolving together with the game
ld-airgrafix replied to ld-airgrafix's topic in General Discussion
Excellent post here, this is how dayz is supposed to be played. Killing for food, although i didnt really see a reason for your actions as there is so much food around, ha ha. Pvp for survival is welcome, pvp for fun go play COD. -
Dayz players evolving together with the game
ld-airgrafix replied to ld-airgrafix's topic in General Discussion
Well that kid probably just came from COD, and doesnt know what this game is about. To me, players who find it interesting to handcuff fresh spawn and like to force feed them disinfectsnt or take their clothes of are probably types of people who like to torture animals as kids. -
Dayz players evolving together with the game

We need players like you, I don't want complete friendly server, but I don't want idiots like the 4th player who attacks a heavily armed player just because he can't be f**ked to play this game for what it is. He could have gotten a can of beans and lived a bit longer. -
I really hope it's put well together, last thing we want glitches, I know it will be alpha standards but hopefully basics like killing work. Which brings to a question, what do we do with all the raw meat???? Is cooking being implemented at the same time??
-
Why not, it doesnt interfere with the game production in anyway, it would take about an hour and it would improve gameplay slightly.

What dayz could have been without zombies
ld-airgrafix replied to gibonez's topic in General Discussion
This guy gets it. This is what post apocalyptic world would be like, this is what looking for food means and how precious one peanut found on a dusty table could be. -
Started similar thread, perhaps someone can merge them http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/175818-sounds-and-surroundings/

This patch is littertly game breaking.
ld-airgrafix replied to Naberius (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
Like Lumeria above me said, I paid for this product, I have my right to complain or suggest. I never said the game was broken, and my whining can only improve the game. Go through all my posts, never once did I write this game is shit, at your 35 posts to this date, I have surely contributed more to this game on these forums than you did. -

Are all members retarded on this forum. Just because it's in alpha stage, it doesn't mean they shouldn't fix biggest problems in the game. I'm having a break from this game for a month now, because I lost everything to a single zombie, who killed me with a single shot, who glitched through a wall and my hand gun was apparently shooting blanks. They made 30million, maybe they should use that money to get experienced designers and scripters. -

Did you even bother reading my whole comment, before attacking me? -

I think it's time to stop writing "it's alpha". This is ridiculous, shouldn't take this long to fix two of the biggest game ruining bugs, zombie glitching and all melee weapons as well as most hand guns being useless. -
Alright, I am finally concerned about the standalone
ld-airgrafix replied to JimmyGate's topic in General Discussion
I think this engine is completely wrong for a zombie game. -
Are most of the melee weapons useless now?
ld-airgrafix replied to Blern's topic in General Discussion
All useless, even the fire axe. This game hasn't improved at all in months. Doesn't look good for its future -
Protest against the new update for night/day being added
ld-airgrafix replied to JosephHabib's topic in Suggestions
Keep the night, but it seems like devs have never been out at night. Even without a light sourest night is not pitch black, stars are more than enough, even on a cloudy night it's still brighter than dayz. Infestation got this right, there you go, ISS has something better than dayz ha ha -
Imagine if chenarus had a living personality: let me explain
ld-airgrafix replied to powderdtoastman's topic in Suggestions
I think you are playing the wrong game, pvp isn't central core of this game. Oh wait, you are right, pvp is central core at the moment, hopefully this changes, we have many great pvp games out there, we don't need another one. We do need a great survival game, and this was original aim for this game. We can only wait and see. -
They aren't zombies, they are infected humans
-
Regardless of what they do, guns spawn need to be reduced. At the moment you can get heavily armed by visiting barracks anywhere on the map. Maybe once our character is locked to a server, players won't server hop, perhaps it's something devs need to keep in mind, for testing purposes. Big problem with this is, if your server is full, you can't log on to your player, and 40 is max, so this will happen a lot.
-
Dropbear said 100's of different guns as long as they are rare, and you cant make it rarer than 1 of each, so you have 100 guns (all different models) 20 players on average per server, you do the math. I'm sure they won't have 100 different models, my reply was more of a joke than being serious.

Rain, broken bones, zombies, 12 year olds, suicide, communication, melee weapons etc

They are both war games, aren't they?
