It is a survival game. Your first priority should be finding food and /or weapon to defend yourself, not cruise down the highway.I agree with you on easy to find food, and its something that can never be fixed, unless they can make a script, which controls loot amount according to no. of players in a server. I dont believe cars should be top priority, for me its fixing melee weapons and infected glitching.

Adding more animations to an already cluttered engine, i will say no. Its not something that would make or break the game, so unless they improve the engine to hold few hundred zombies, its a no for me.

You would be surprised how many players want to turn this into just another pvp Cod. There are only a handful of us that want true "die of starvation" survival game. And it seems devs are catering the larger group. I can also see h1z1 and all other survival games going this path because true survival is boring, who wants to spend a night locked inside while 100s of z's roam outside. Its much more interesting doing a rambo. So yes I agree with you, helicopters and other high tech weaponry should not exist in an apocalyptic setting

Personally i would rather helicopters than tanks or even night vision. If helicopters are added, unfortunately i see anti helicopter weapons such as bazookas being implemented. Helicopters should be loud, one should be heard way before seen. Low flying helicopter is in more danger than a person on foot. Should kos kids decide to use such transport to ruin gameplay for others, they need to be in more danger than grounded players, as its easier to hit a big object while standing still then a small object in a shaky helicopter. In other words helicopters should only be used for transport at high altitudes. Also petrol should be so hard to come by that a team simply wouldnt raise the helicopter for a single player.

Would i say is the game getting worse, it seems like it. Game isnt finished, so give it a break. I think some players have been disrupted by a recent game (that shall not be named), also videos are popping up on youtube claiming dayz is in trouble due to its shitty game engine. I would really like devs to come out with a video now, showing game progress (if any), just to rub it in to all rats who are abandoning the ship.

Not new models, just new textures and GUIs. Yes you are right its not as easy as i put it, but they are full time employees, not hobbyists.Vegetation, all game engines have a randomise button, they didnt put every tree and plant down seperately, explains the grass sticking through the floors of some buildings. Ok i wont mention h1z1. (Damn it, that was my best card)I have only played 7d2d and project zomboid as alphas. Both bring out updates regularly especially 7d2d. But lets keep other games out and focus on dayz. Lets not even mention that 90% of this games assets came from the mod. Clearly they are having scripting problems since glitching isnt being fixed, maybe its lack of skilled workers or the game engine, that i cant tell you. However i can tell you when it comes to their design and 3d art team they are hopeless. Not sure if yourself has done any game designing or know what it takes to make 3d models, i have as a hobby. For a team of full time workers it would take about a week from scratch to design all the buildings you see in dayz. And when i say a week im being generous. I can design a house in a matter of minutes, and upload the fbx or obj file into a game engine in no time at all. Beauty of game engines today, to create colliders is only a click of a button. Bugs such as glitching can occur even when you have colliders on, thats where a good scripter can come in handy. Colliders, door animations, are all prefabs made only once. Hope this answers your question.

I encounter groups of bullies more and more. It seems this game is turning into a hunting game. Single players like myself stand no chance in world of chernaurus. Im going to give this game a break, at least until melee weapons are fixed. Regardless what others say, all melee weapons are useless right now. Zombies are blood hounds that follow you across the hills and glide faster than you can sprint. Yes its alpha and that's why Im taking a break from it.

I honestly don't know how anyone with a bit of brain can name themselves after a creature that does something so disturbing. they should have been banned or at least warned.
