Yup exactly, It has nothing to do with specs, it's simply a memory leak issue that still isn't quite fixed. Im trying to find a solution and nothing really seems to work when I use to have it.

Back in Febuary I use to have this issue until it sort of went away on it's own. However seems my cousin is still stuck with the issue and it's frustrating for him and on me, because I want to play with him. I've tried to find solutions on how to fix the stuttering, but nothing ever pops up on google. His rig isn't the best but his CPU is pretty low however if I had this issue before it can't be his system as mine is pretty beefy. The issue: So what happens is every time you try moving around or let alone playing at all you will lag horribly and freeze for 3-5 seconds unfreeze then 5 seconds later freeze again for another 3-5 seconds. Here's a video I took a while back when I use to have it, the person who's talking is my friend over Skype hah. Anyways here's my cousins specs he plans on updating his rig soon: CPU: Intel Core Duo e8400 RAM: 6GB DDR2 GPU: GTX 470 2GB (Latest Nvidia Drivers) OS: Windows 7 64-Bit Much appreciated to anyone who can help. NOTE: Don't tell me that it's because of his specs I had a friend who had a way crappier rig and played DayZ just fine.

Anything that clips the Dev team dislikes. It hardly clipped with the helmet to be honest. Im sure if the community bitched enough about it they'd bring it back.

So? Back then there was little to no clothing at all. I thought the gas mask/Helmet combo looked terdy to me, but whatever. I wore the Pilot helm and Gas mask and that looked pretty cool. But point is is, why remove something that everyone liked?

Neither do I, Ruined a bit of the customization.

They're pretty much the same different purpose. ;)

When you took away the Pilot helmet and Gas mask clipping I was pretty disappointed. Fact is it never had clipping issues so don't understand why it was disallowed from the game. Anyways thought this would be neat for an idea. If Chris stops by here make it happen man. Also if you do come into this thread I was the one that gave you the idea for hoodies and Gas Masks as an Idea ;)

It's ever since they implemented this optimization patch it's been having this CPU memory leak issue. I find it funny they (the devs) think it's GPU related when in fact feels like a CPU problem to me. Going under performance tab in Task Manager you can see it spike way up.

Idk man it's just really irritating. My internet says 34 down and 4 up. Don't think it's my net, im jsut gonna try reinstalling DayZ and a PC restart. and if that doesn't do anything then reinstalling my drivers and still nothing, then it's definitely a game issue.

Yeah, still getting the same 5 second freezing, someone gave me some good information though. Guess certain servers are still plagued with the issue causing my kind of problem. I just want to play. Experimental seems to work fine (sometimes) but you don't get to keep anything on experimental at least a separate hive would of been nice.

After todays maintenance and patch 115188 I still freeze every 5 seconds of gameplay, unfreeze, freeze again. Assuming there's still a memory leak issue, because I see my CPU spike like hella crazy under performance. FPS is fine getting range of 50-60 frames on everything mostly on ultra.
