I had terrible lag when connecting to the experimental servers. Probably because they were at around 300 ping and AU servers while I'm in America. The mouse acceleration was pretty crazy though. Willing to wait for them to officially have the experimental servers back up. -

Now Steam is down entirely for me, I went to switch to the Stable version and it wouldn't let me update to it and then I lost connection to Steam. -

Anybody else get the Confirmation of Change message when boot up the experimental version of the game? "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgCoreData.heatHazeNoise'." I know the servers are down I was just popping in to check and this message came up and there seems to be no servers listing at all. Not experimental nor stable (at least in the experimental version of the game). -

There is a suggestion section of the forums. To get the best reception of your suggestion, posting there would be best. There are plenty of people that are willing to discussion nothing but suggestions there. This would be a great topic to discuss. :) -

The voice chat in my opinion should be how it is now on Regular servers but on Hardcore it should always be on making you have to be quiet yourself. I really think that the main differences between regular and hardcore servers should be realism and immersion. I also wouldn't mind it if regular servers had the option of having a global chat. Just sayin... -

I cant wait for the team of people they brought on from big time hunting games like Big Game Hunter (don't know if its those EXACT people) to do the hunting in this game. Im just gonna be a mountain man when I can hunt for food with a bow and camp out in a tent next to the fire I made. In the dev blog video, they said they were working on campfires now that they have the portable stoves pretty much working now. -

This game is in Alpha so slow progress is expected. It's gonna take awhile for things to be fixed and implemented and it will never be what you want it to be (the things being fixed). Rocket leaving doesn't mean the project wont be finished, especially since they hired a whole new group of people to bring on the project. Rocket isn't taking off with the money or anything like that. All the money they have made is project funds.If anything, the departure of Rocket and doubling the team should potentially speed up the process a bit or at least there should be more things changed from patch to patch in more areas. Until this game hits Beta, it is gonna be bug central and you were told that before, when, and after you purchased it. The only thing that I hope is that the ideas that Rocket had tor how things will be in the end (how things work, look, and what not) will still be close to his ideas of how it should be. He seemed to have a grasp on the big picture of it and how everything will work together to make the game awesome. Development cycles are not as simple as the majority of you think or everyone would be making games that are bug free (which bug free games don't exist). -

I have discovered that the no zoom and bad FoV I was experiencing was due to my controller being plugged in. I don't know why but once I unplugged it everything went back to normal and I can zoom again fine. I still would like to see the fix for iron sights at default FoV. -

Cool. Thanks for the info. I hope it ends up like that The two things I noticed was the FoV change and the no zoom, which is all understandable with where he is trying to lead it and it should be good when its all nice and polished. I kinda wish they would've waited to take out zooming until they added binoculars (or I just haven't found them yet). I feel like many veterans will have the advantage because of how fast they can get a gun a scope compared to newer players, but I wouldn't think it would give them too much zoom unless its a sniper scope right? I only had a broken scope on an m4 once and it barely added any zoom at all (if any). -

The new way the FoV works kinda makes me feel cramped. I have to put it up all the way to get out of the cramped feel but when I right click with a weapon, the view has to zoom out a little bit more to accommodate to the FoV. I understand what you're aiming for with it, im just wondering if you will ever make it so that when you iron sight that it will be set closer to the actual iron sights by default? make it so the FoV doesn't affect the iron sights view is what im saying. it just doesn't really help with shooting if looking down the iron sights feels like holding the gun out in front of me as far as I can. :\ -

Mask can no longer be worn with helmets. Are you gonna make gas mask accessible with ballistic helmets at some point? I really enjoyed the look. -

So a buddy and I got together in the game so we could work together. I had my character on Regular servers pretty much decked out with a bunch of ammo and magnums and an m4 and the clothes and everything. So I went to Electro where he was waiting for me (took forever) and we started working together and I got him a bunch of stuff and I got a bunch of stuff too and we were hunting for food because for some reason, the few food we ate didn't alter the hunger statues at all. On our way we killed two guys out walking in the open and then when we got to the school, I noticed a guy was bleeding through the third floor and we were on the second floor. I went around to hold him up and he shot at me and we both backed off. he was standing up stairs in the middle of the floor while both my buddy and I were on the second floor. I told my buddy to watch the stairs and I went to wrap around the outside balcony spot to take the ladder up the side. I was gonna have him go and shoot towards the guy up the stairs, even if he missed while I went up the ladder so I could flank him and kill him. I got around to the ladder and I crashed. Now every time I load into game I crash the moment my character loads into the server. this happened about 5 times in a row before I told my buddy he was on his own to kill him and the moment he started moving in, he crashed and is now crashing every time. My buddy is Malindahunt71 and I am windchimepuppet. I cant remember which server we are on but its one that has a lot of people in it. I didn't get a look at the guys name because the shoot out between us was very hectic. I can try to get as much information as possible and anything else you need me to know, ill get it. I am just trying to figure out if im seriously have an issue with the game and its crashing legit or if maybe its this guy with a hack or something. we crashed a once or twice earlier when roaming the city but that was random enough to feel like a legit hack and we both crashed at the same time which is the only thing that was odd about it, but that made me assume everyone on the server crashed. any information on whats going on would be awesome. -

I did have items from previous patch. but I crashed on respawn...oh well, ill try out the experimental servers. -

ok, so clearly the guy had to be hacking or something because he killed us instantly the moment we got in this time. I came in unconscious and he came in with broken legs. the guy shot him instantly and then when I regained consciousness he shot me. really stupid that I couldn't be killed legit. -

Also zombies go upstairs now, which leads me to a question. I was upstairs and a zombie ran up the stairs so I was fighting it at the top of the stairs with a baseball bat. Halfway through the battle, I fell through the floor hit the ground breaking my leg(s) and now im stuck inside the house and I cant do anything, I cant crawl out. do I have to just wait it out until I starve?
